Mariah Carey wants us all to know she’s not stupid, or a slut. She’s actually a prude, so wholesome you could sell her to Disney.
In a recent interview with Allure Mariah calls herself a “freakin’ prude.”
“It’s a dichotomy, I understand,” the 37-year-old bombshell singer tells Allure magazine. “I understand that people think I’m a ditzy moron.”
And just in case she REALLY is a ditzy moron, Mariah also told Allure “I have three personal assistants just to keep up with my schedule.”
Despite previously being romantically linked to Eminem and Derek Jeter Mariah says she’s actually conservative and has never indulged in a one-night stand.
“I’m Mary Poppins: I’m what the buttoned-up girls are supposed to be,” Carey told Allure.

I Mary Poppins wasn’t fictional and was alive and well today, she’d probably work for a wealthy London family for a time before being poached by a celebrity couple, wearing the mother’s cast off designer labels and sleeping with the father and making money from a tell-all in the British tabloids. She’s have no time to sing songs about room cleaning.
Sadly, Mariah wasn’t comparing herself to a modern-day Mary Poppins, but rather the virginal 1964 original from Disney. Without the magical powers.
Mariah partially got her reputation as a ditzy moron after this clueless quote was mistakenly attributed to her; “When I watch TV and see those poor starving kids all over the world, I can’t help but cry. I mean, I’d love to be skinny like that, but not with all those flies and death and stuff.”
The quote was actually part of a fictitious interview created online, that was picked up by mainstream magazines and newspapers. She really did say she was Mary Poppins though, and that’s dumb enough.

Now, I have a problem; What Mariah Carey is?
If she says that she’s a prude and believe it, she’s an airhead. She completely misses the definition of prude. We just need to see her material to know that she’s, most of the time, half naked.
If she says she’s a prude and know it’s not the case, she’s a hypocrite. Even if it’s normal in Hollywood, my bull$h!t detector goes into the roof every time heard someone like Mariah trying to giver herself a public virginity.
In both ways, Mariah Carey missed an opportunity to shut-up.

Despite her skanky dressing, Mariah doesn’t ‘put out’ is what I’ve heard/read. Don’t know if that makes her a tease or if she’s one of those women who enjoys looking sexy and the idea of sex but doesn’t actually enjoy sex. She’s always been a bit of an oddball imo but I do like her music esp. her earlier stuff.

I was just about to say that. I know I used to dress and act a lot sexier than I was actually willing to be. I guess that’s kind of a tease.
Anyway I see what Mariah is getting at, but it just makes her sound even dumber.
And, I stopped dressing like a skank too. lol

Just because Mariah dresses a certain way and shows a lot of skin in photos, does NOT mean she is a slut! OMG people, really, are you kidding me? So, if you pose “nude” in an art class for people to paint you, that makes you a slut, too? There’s no difference in posing nude for an art class or a camera. She dresses sexy because SEX SELLS, she dresses “classy” sexy not slutty sexy like Christina and Britney once did and Lady Gaga currently. And, anyone who dresses “slutty” sexy doesn’t curtail them to be sluts, either! Posing nude does not make you a slut, either. Tease or no tease, that does not make one a slut. Britney dressed slutty and claimed to be a virgin when in fact we found out later she wasn’t a virgin at during the entire time she was claiming to be!!! Get your facts straight, people!

It’s sleeping with half of the industry that makes her a slut. Ask P. Diddy and his crew, ask Eminem, Vin Diesel, Leonardo Dicaprio, Eddie Murphy… I could go on.

Mariah Carey a prude?!! HAH! I’ll believe it when I see it! If Mariah was a prude she wouldn’t be prancing around in skimpy dresses! If she was a prude she wouldn’t have had that boob job, nor bleached her hair, nor put on fake tan or strut around in heels!
