After a bout of addiction to the pain killers she can speak from experience and embraces "aging gracefully". BTW keeping up on your folic acid will keep your hair from graying prematurely...exercise and eating right and lots of sunscreen makes someone who is 50 outshine a lot of the 20 year olds I've seen. But I don't want to be naive about her (or other "natural" celebs), either. Because she certainly doesn't live the life of your average, everyday person. She has a lot of money, so let's face it, she's fairly pampered. That is, I doubt she cleans her own toilets, and she probably has a gym in her house (or at least a personal trainer), and she might even employ a private chef to make fabulously healthy meals for her family. She doesn't work a 9-5 job, with only two weeks' holidays a year; in fact, she probably only works a few weeks a year, so she has a lot more time than most to go for long, therapeutic walks, get facials at the spa, and relax. Don't get me wrong -- I still think it's amazing that she's taken this stand against plastic surgery and is trying to show the average American woman that it's nicer to age gracefully. I'm just saying, let's not forget that she's STILL coming at things from a very priveleged starting point! Just want to reiterate how much I love Jamie. Don't we all get older? With that comes the grey hair and a few wrinkles. I am just about to be 40(hurrah!), and have that same hair cut as she does and they grey hair to match, but most women I know are horrified that I won't colour my hair - but who wants all of those toxic chemicals floating around their body? Not me! I take extremely good care of my self - inside and out - and am always being told I look at least 10 years younger than I am, which is wonderful and more than an ego boost than botox could ever be.
