Madonna might spend $200,000 on plastic surgery for her 52nd b-day

This comes from the bottom rungs of the British tabloids, so there’s more than a good chance that this is total crap. The Daily Star (via Celebrity Mania) is claiming that Madonna wants to “treat” herself to $200,000 worth of plastic surgery for her 52nd birthday this August. The reason? Because she’s a gristly vampire? Nah. Apparently, Madge has been “feeling her age” and she wants “to keep looking her best”. You know what would have kept her looking good? If she hadn’t gone through with the first round of plastic surgery, in which chicken cutlet cheek implants were welded onto her face.

Turning 52 in August, pop diva Madonna might be giving herself a treat by going under the knife. Britain’s Daily Star newspaper has come out with a story that the queen of pop is planning to spend $200,000 on plastic surgery on some parts of her body and face in a bid to maintain her sexy look.

A source suggested that her divorce from husband Guy Ritchie and her rocky romance with Jesus Luz have something to do with her decision. “Madonna has been feeling her age since her divorce from Guy Ritchie in 2008,” the source revealed. “She thought she’d be living ‘happy ever after’ but it hasn’t happened that way. She’s been dating the model Jesus Luz who is a lot younger than her and she wants to keep looking her best.”

Daily Star reported Madonna, who recently split from Jesus, is “considering an eye lift, a boob job, lip fillers and Lipo Sculpt but is also opting for less invasive procedures including a new laser treatment that reduces the appearance of spider veins.” Though so, it is said that the “Material Girl” still “wants things to look natural with nothing too radical”.

[From Celebrity Mania]

Reasons why this could be true: Madge could be going in for some maintenance work this summer when she has some free time; she could truly be worried about her looks; she’s already had some stuff done, so why not more? Reasons why this is probably bullsh-t: Madge is cheap and I don’t see her spending $200,000 on anything that she can’t hang on her wall; after all of the criticism she received after the cheek implants, would she go under the knife again?

  1. It won’t help, Lady Vadge. At this point it would be – hmmm, oh yes – jumping the shark!

She scares me. Also- I imagine $200,000 is the same to Madonna as $5.00 is to the rest of us.

She still looks good, different than her old self and funny in the cheeks in some pictures but she’s alright.
If this is true it could be because she is rumored to be the new judge on American Idol, replacing Simon.
Lot of consistent exposure and face time to a large audience.
I think she could be just about the only person to replace him and pull it off.

I can see Madge doing this. She is such a narccisist. Maybe she’ll start hanging out with Donatella Versace so she doesn’t look so jacked next to her.

I don’t know why these famous ladies won’t accept a few wrinkles and age gracefully. So many of them look terrible just “trying to shave a few years off”.

It’s sad really that these women feel all of their self-worth is tied to a youthful appearance. Even sadder is the work makes them look so unnatural it’s freakish. And who do they think they are fooling? Everyone knows how old they are….deal with it! Just my opinion.

I was sad to see her stoop to plastic surgery. Madonna used to seem like a powerful woman with some self respect, but cutting up your face to change your appearance just screams of desperation and fear of aging. She would have made an excellent role model for aging gracefully, but she ruined it with those chipmunk cheeks.

I don’t particularly like her or think she’s got much talent, but in terms of appearance, she WAS aging beautifully not that long ago.

Just get the cutlets removed from your face, Madonna, and allow yourself to gain some much-needed body fat. You’ll be the hottest 52 year old around.

I seriously don´t think she looks bad for her age, plastic surgery, botox and all.
And seriously, who ever believe she would become an “organic mom/grany”?
    It´s Madonna people!!!!!

At least she has a valid reason for butchering up!

    Poor thing.
Her incessant narcissism got her the career she wanted, but she utterly failed to realize that you can’t keep a relationship by making it solely about yourself when you get home at night.
So now she’s in her 50′s, single, and starting to make an idiot of herself by desperately trying to hang onto her youth. Have a little dignity, Madge, and just grow up and enjoy your kids. Let them be the kids.

Madonna looks great and everyone posting this garbage knows that. She looks better than any fifty-two-year-old any of us knows, and if we were her age and had her money and did what she does for a living and moved in her circles, we’d be going under the knife too. Get off your moral high horses. There’s nothing wrong with trying to look your best. And Madge has given away far more money than she’s ever spent on surgery. What percentage of YOUR income have YOU given to charity? That’s what I thought. Imbeciles.
