  1. WHY in God’s name do these celebs do that to themselves? She looks horrible, and she probably looked just fine before, if a little aged. So what? Take note, women of H’wood: You look more graceful and dignified when you leave well enough alone, for the most part. I can understand a chemical peel or something to rejuvenate the skin, but leave your freaking lips alone!!

  3. Celebitchy, I can always count on you for kind, well-considered remarks in situations like these. It’s one of the reasons I love this blog. As soon as I saw her, and saw that she was still thin everywhere else, I was reminded of what happened to my father-in-law’s face when he was on steroids for a medical condition. He is otherwise very slender and fit, but while on steroids, his face temporarily swelled up.

  5. It could be as simple as dental work.

I once had an impacted tooth which required surgery and my face was swelled like that for about a week after.

  6. Hollywood is such s tough cruel place to get by in. Just natural aging, unpreventable illness, totally normal things- and you are totally rejected and found disgusting….
Thats what this made me think of; I mean to say a general thought I realized seeing this.
I also think its puffy face, not some cosmetic work. Just the way it looks… also the relative paleness- usually with swelling the circulation is hidden under water and you look pale. I hope she gets better and maybe Hollywood can be a little more real and human.

  7. Ever since I found out she was the one who put the brakes on the Audrey Horne and Agent Cooper relationship in Twin Peaks I’ve never been able to drum up a single drop of affection or enthusiasm for her.

    So no love lost there.

If she’s ill, I hope she lays low until she’s better.

  9. LOOKS LIKE CHEEK IMPLANTS AND BOTOX GONE BAD. HER WHOLE FACE HAS CHANGED NOT JUST HER LIPS.

  10. She really does look ill to me, rather than just botched surgery/fillers. Bad dose.

  11. Bulimia jaw is when the salivary glands swell up from too much puking, causing “chipmunk cheeks.” I think it’s more than that and you can tell in pics on other sites where half of her face looks droopy.

  13. CB, you’re very kind and forgiving but we know from Lara’s history of duck lips and extreme thinness that she’s very vain and concerned about her looks. Therefore if she’s been out of work for a while, a guest spot on L & O would send her running to the cosmetic surgeons office. That’s why I reckon the puffiness is due to injections.

  14. Predisone, trust me. It gives people that chipmunk face.
    I hope she’s all right.

  15. I was going to guess prednisone too. Remember what Jerry Lewis looked like when he was on the drug a few years ago? There are a lot of auto immune diseases that are treated with steroids to alleviate joint pain, such as rheumatoid arthritis.

  16. And isn’t rheumatoid arthritis a side effect of long term bulimia and/or anorexia?

  17. Too much coke cause a stroke???
Or the botox was misinjected or misdosed?
That’s catty, I can’t say I like her that much but I actually do hope she’s not sick. She was not bad in MIB
