Kate Gosselin’s “bodyguard” Steve advised her on her breast implants

wenn5465875

So, the general consensus is that Kate Gosselin is boning her bodyguard Steve Neild, right? That’s how it’s always struck me, and I just asked CB, and she thinks it’s on between Kate and Steve too. Why do we think this? Probably because he spends way more time with Kate than with his wife. And because he and Kate are literally always together. And because he advises her on things like her breast implants.

Bosom buddy, indeed! Mom of eight Kate Gosselin, 35, is rarely seen without her trusted bodyguard of three years, Steve Neild. During her recent run on Dancing with the Stars, a show source says, the New Zealander was “omnipresent on the set — at rehearsals, on the press line, everywhere!”

And now a source says in the new Us Weekly the married father of two not only drove Gosselin to the doctor when she got breast enhancements March 30, 2009, but even weighed in on what the result should be: “Kate was going to have one kind of breast augmentation, but she changed her mind after talking to Steve about what would look best.”

(Multiple sources tell Us Weekkly the procedure — which can cost $10,000 — took place. Gosselin went from a size 4 shirt to a size 6 shirt.)

Asked about a boob job earlier this year, Gosselin responded, “Plastic surgery? Please. Who has time to even think about it, let alone do it?”

Well, she did: The TLC star’s tummy tuck was documented on a 2007 episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8!

[From Us Weekly]

Could this all be innocent? Sure. If I was considering implants (HA, I’m a DD-cup), I would consult various men (not necessarily lovers), just to get their take on what kind of size and stuff they prefer, in general. I’ve actually considered breast reduction, and I’ve already asked various men what they think about that (a resounding “HELL NO”). So is Us Weekly twisting something innocent? Eh. I still think she and Steve are getting it on.

A little impromptu hand-holding in the top photo?

If I were this guy’s REAL wife, I would have him leave his job…pronto! We all know WHAT KHATE WANTS, KHATE GETS!

11 years ago, my husband’s ex-wife called HIM to tell him her breast implant ‘popped’ (?) After having been her husband for almost 5 years and going through the surgery ordeal with her, he STILL told her, “That is the most inappropriate thing to discuss with me. I am NOT your husband anymore…tell it to your boyfriend.” Even us folk here in New Hampshire know what’s appropriate and what’s not. Steve, IT’S NOT.

Mrs. Nield….get a private eye and then a good divorce attorney. He’s screwing you over in more ways than one! (And I’m sure he is with KHATE as well.)

I going to say no. If she was getting shagged on a regular basis I would hope she would have a better attitude.

Yes, Kaiser, I get the same reaction – I’m also a DD by nature (when I’m NOT nursing) – to the reduction question. I also get told by men I’ve never met to “never cut my hair” which is down to my rear. What is it with guys and long hair?

You know, as a former subscriber to US Weekly, I’m pretty certain they have an “anti-Kate” agenda. Everything they write about her is negative; everything they write about Jon usually has a positive spin to it. Just something I’ve noticed as a casual observer.

The implants look good, not fake like Victoria Beckams or Kelly Bensimons, so Steve did give Kate some good advice on her chest. Domajoremc I noticed the hand thing too; I think they are getting it on.

Seems to be his bailiwick if you ask me: he’s her BODYguard, so it only makdes sense he should have a say in what happens to it, right? : P

But seriously, I don’t think there is an affair. She just has him around her all the time because she is a self-important, emotionally needy famewhore. As for him, hell, everybody needs a paycheck.

totally unrelated to Kate, I had a breast reduction about 5 years ago and it was the best thing I ever did. I had a friend who had one and she said that she tells anyone who is considering it to do it, b/c if you’re considering it, you’ve probably already got all the reasons you need. I have 2 herniated discs in my lower back from giant boobs and since the surgery my back (not to mention my shoulders!) have been so much better! I would say go for it and tell the guys to fuck off.

she bang. she bang. I don’t care who she bangs. what drives me nuts is the matchy matchy, always! Who the LL coordinates with the bodyguard? It is not security prom!
Sidenotes: they are holding hands (lol) in the top photo and as far as security… he’s never looking up for danger, he’s always looking at kate. shudder. like the real danger comes from her, see he knows.

  19. Brittney says:

    @ Keen,
completely agreed. Like Kaiser, the guys in my life have never responded well to hearing that I want a breast reduction. But they aren’t the ones who have to live with the back and neck pain or the discomfort of bra straps that cut into their shoulders. (Not to mention the years’ worth of social and emotional issues that have stemmed from having DD cups since age 14.) I absolutely hate it when women get breast augmentations (almost always implants) “for” their husbands or boyfriends. All other issues of equality and objectification aside, they’re not the ones who will have to endure the physical side effects of larger breasts, natural or not.

The only implant that is noticeable on Kate is the surgically implanted bitchface. As for Steve, can you say “cuckold”?

  21. Kitty2000 says:

I asked my man about the reduction thing too and he says an emphatic “No!” but I figure he doesn’t have to heft these puppies around all the time. But to be honest, it’s the whole ‘moving of the nipples’ thing that gives me pause. It just sounds creepy. Also I had a friend who had it done and she ended up with the wound not closing properly, and then an extra flap of skin in her cleavage that they were going to “fix up later”. So I think maybe no…

Khate claims no time for plastic surgery? HA! She has time for a tummy tuck, spa trips, mani-pedis, DWTS, free vacations, etc. Why not a boob job too? I’m sure Stevie loves them and ensures they are healing well every day!

    @ Brittney -

Such an awesome comment! :) You speak the truth, and articulate it well. I, too, hate it when women get bigger boobs for the man in their life. It’s like they have no idea what they’re getting themselves into. Thankfully, my husband would never ask me to get plastic surgery for him, and he supports my decision for a reduction/lift when I’m done nursing.

I had a breast reduction… DD’s have nothing on what I took off… 7 lbs. The new boobs are great and my husband loves them! They have all the perks of young (before kids) boobs!

If you going to ask a man for his option on your body you should rethink your situation. It’s your body and no one else’s.

  27. Feebee says:

I don’t know why she’s denying it. I thought it was all part of the Kate schtick. And that the surgery was if not free then heavily discounted maybe courtesy of TLC.

Forget the boobs though, it’s her face that’s changed. It’s more than hair dye and some make up to make her look like this as opposed to the rat faced, short brown haired look she presented during pregnancy or at the start of this debacle that is her present life.

As for Steve… if he’s is sleeping with her, I’m embarrassed he’s a kiwi.

I had a breast reduction about 2 years ago and it was THE BEST decision of my life. I’m in the fashion industry and spend a lot of time on my feet and I could never wear sample sizes before. Now my breasts are my favorite accessory. They look round and perky and FIT in everything!

I had a Jessica Simpson type figure before – I always looked like I was sausaged into clothes that were the right size for me, just didn’t fit my chest… Now I feel and look much better. I did it for myself.

My husband loves my long hair, would hate it if I cut it, but I really have no desire to most days. It’s just a guy thing I guess.

As for the people wanting reductions, I say you should go for it if you want. I can only imagine the back problems large breasts would cause. Not to mention, finding pretty bras, running, exercising, unwanted attention, lewd comments. The nipple thing would scare me too, but it may be worth it to others.

Personally, I’m as flat as a board and am going to get implants. My husband didn’t want me to but after hearing about it for years I think he’s finally understood. Nothing crazy, but I really don’t want to go up a shirt size and I’m already broad shouldered. Ugh.

There’s a video of Kate & Boobyguard arriving at NYC hotel a few months ago. It’s truly soft porn as he gets out of limo and she stays in. He tucks in his shirt and moves around sheepishly. When she finally gets out she has a totally stoned look in her eyes. I’m sure it’s on YouTube.

Yep I’m going to get a reduction, because these damn things give me back pain. And if any guy disagrees, I’ll bolt 40 pounds of jiggly heft to their chests.
Perhaps in a couple of jello moulds.
