All our prayers have been answered! Especially Michael K’s. The News of the World (via MTV UK) is claiming that Chelsy Davy has been telling friends that she and Prince Harry are done. Before everyone is like “I wouldn’t wipe my ass with News of the World” – hush. Let me enjoy this moment of thinking Prince Harry is single. Also, I’ve been wondering why Harry and Chelsy haven’t been photographed together at all the past few weeks while Harry was touring various African nations, especially when Harry got to South Africa, Chelsy’s home. William and Harry both went to a World Cup game, and Chelsy is nowhere to be seen. Hm… so it could be true, totally.
Prince Harry and long-term girlfriend Chelsy Davy have split, according to News of the World. The couple were together for six years and separated briefly in 2007.
Reports say 24-year-old Chelsy was the one who did the dumping, apparently unhappy with the amount of time Harry spent on family and Army commitments, and keen to return to her native Africa.
The News of the World quotes Chelsy as telling her friends: “We’re finished. This is a new beginning for me. I want to start my career in South Africa where I plan to spend the rest of my life. I don’t want to live in Britain.”
Zimbabwe-born Chelsy studied law at Leeds University and was due to start as a trainee solicitor at the London law firm Allen & Overy in September.
Prince Harry has spent the last week in Africa – after a few days in Lesotho where his children’s charity is based, the prince flew to Cape Town with William to see England draw with Algeria in their World Cup game.
Following the match, the princes spoke to the England players in their dressing room and left moments before an irate fan managed to get past security and into the restricted area. Later William joked: “Harry and I left the door open. And that’s why it happened. It was our fault. We take full responsibility.”

Part of me thinks Chelsy is pretty cool for not turning her life upside down for Harry. It’s clear that they adore each other, but I appreciate that she’s got her own sh-t going on, and if this is true, I like that she had the balls to walk away because she didn’t want to put the potential for a life with Harry first, ahead of her own interests. Take note, Kate Middleton. I mean, it’s not like Harry was passing out engagement rings so Chelsy knew where she stood – although, just my opinion, I bet Harry did ask Chelsy if she wanted to get married. He seemed totally besotted with her. Although he doesn’t seem to be mourning the relationship too much – he looks really good. I want one.

The picture of Beckham, Harry and Wills reminds me of
“One of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesn’t belong”
I am sorry, but Wills is getting so Charlesy looking, and that is not good.
I am saddened to admit, I am finding Beckham very hot these days. I never thought that before, but I am changing my mind. Harry is hot for a red head.

Harry looks like he’s thinning the tiniest bit too, but that’s ok. The similarities to both Diana and Charles in William at different shots is always amazing. I hope he just shaves his head at some point. Same with Harry – just get it over with. Bald is sexy! BUT, I’m not sure how well these men will age. They’re at their peak now. William looks better though when he’s a bit scruffier and rugged. Harry looks good no matter what. But I see the Windsor in him too…

Good for Chelsy, if true. I really respect how she values herself enough to say “the hell with this shiz, I’m going home”. Waity Katie take note, indeed. I think William likes her compliant and subservient. Kate will be what ever he wants her to be. Yuck.

BALD spot on william is GETTING BIGGER!!! It’s just such a shame since he got his locks form his mom but seriously it’s looking baaaad…he should just own up and shave it all off. Otherwise he’s going to be sporting the atrocious side brushing looks.

I didn’t want Harry to end up with Chelsy. Personally, I’d love it if there was a Royal + Royal wedding. Or at least Royal + Noble wedding. Enough with the commoner/royal marriages :-p

What, again? She dumped him a while back and they got back together. If she’s done it again I’d say that’s it then.
With his life style being single’s probably not a bad thing. For all his macho/boyo job/hobbies/pursuits he strikes me as a guy who prefers to be in a relationship, or at least have one or two on the go, as they say. I could be wrong.

Thinning hair does not look bad to everybody. And shaven bald heads don’t look good to everybody, either.
Harry is nummy. Gals, don’t rag on guys losing their hair, they feel bad enough about it. Anyway, it humbles them and makes them WAY nicer, and has the added benefit of preventing them turning into Russell Brand.

@gg: Very true. Men seem downright apologetic about it but I don’t think it’s unattractive as long as they don’t do any wacky combover-swirltop thing. OTOH, the Spencers do seem to have fabulous hair genes and you know the princes have to occasionally think, “WHY? Why Charles’s hairline?”

Harry and Chelsy have broken up before, I don’t think I ever thought these two were long-term material. He has the look of a wild bachelor about him anyway, I think he has a while to go before he’s remotely ready to settle down. I’d be shocked if he’d mentioned the “m” word to Chelsy.
Next to Harry, William looks so.. Windsor already. Stuffy, and it’s not just the hair or the insufferably patient boring girlfriend. Dull.

I have to say this: My husband is ginger and has a sort of nixon-esque front hairline. While I never found this attractive, per se, he treats me like a prince and I love him dearly, and have grown to love his strange hairline as part of him.
I kind of feel like the thinning hair stigma is like the size zero on women thing; that is, love yourself and give love for the way you and your partner are, and you will avoid a lot of misery. Any relationship based upon outward looks is going to be dysfunctional and lead to misguided acts geared towards getting attention, and not true love. It also sort of makes other people nauseous and question your sanity. *See Speidi, Jocelyn Wildenstein, et al.
