I was going to write another Lindsay post, this time about how she’s probably going to get the police to temporarily take off her SCRAM bracelet so she can pose nude for her 6126 leggings ads, but as I was looking through our photos of Lindsay, this photo of Ali Lohan popped up. You see, Ali went out sober-crack-clubbing with Lindsay last night, and Ali’s gaunt, tragic face caught one photographer’s eye. Seriously, what is wrong with this girl? And I mean “what’s wrong” in the sense of “is she sick?” rather than “what was she thinking?” Ali is all of 16 years old. What is it about the Lohan women? Once they hit puberty, they all get smoker’s rasps and immediately age to “40-something orange Reno cocktail waitress”. Ali looks crazy ill.
I think many of us who have followed Lindsanity and Lohan family drama have always worried about Ali, but perhaps it took a turn for the worse with Ali’s appearance (with Lindsay) at Millions of Milkshakes in April. Ali had eyebrows of doom, and she just looked like hell. Once again, I’m not saying the girl is ugly, I’m saying she looks unhealthy and deathly. Here’s a photo of Ali, just two months ago:
See? She looked like Maggie Simpson’s baby nemesis on The Simpsons. What’s wrong with Ali? Is she trying out the same drug cocktail, Adderall, vodka and crack, “The Lohan Special”? Does she have an eating disorder? Because I think there’s some malnutrition in play, as well as drugs. So here’s my question – why can’t Ali be taken out of this situation? And by “situation” I mean “her family”. It’s not that I think Lindsay is even the worst influence on Ali – Dina and Michael are probably even worse than Lindsay. So why can’t the prosecutor looking into Lindsay’s case look into whatever the hell is happening with Ali?

Looks like she’s been hitting the Adderall hard with her sister. I lost almost 80 pounds this past year because my doc change me to it from Concerta. Granted, I was grossly overweight and now I’m at 175lbs. I had the same gaunt dead face look.

That whole family is really screwed up and then on top of that there is another young child in that family, their younger brother. Maybe he will escape like the older brother did. The thing is Micheal Lohan tried to get Ali out of Linds once, but the cops found nothing wrong. I am not close with my dad and I understand how Micheal was such a bad dad, and in general a jerk. No one is gonna hold much weight in him and plus he isn’t paying a dime in child support. So no one is gonna listen to him very much, he is an ass. Something bad is gonna have to happen for anyone to do anything about this family. For now you can only for the best and hope for some kinda change but Dina is sooooooo delusional.

Know what I was doing at 16?
Homework, hanging out with my friends at Denny’s and the bowling alley, complaining about my curfew, working as the stage manager for my school’s drama department, playing on the varsity soccer team, and being annoyed by my parents.
In other words, typical teenage stuff.
Ali, on the other hand, seems to be living permanently in LA with her cracked out, SCRAM wearing, four time rehab drop-out, tragic washed up sister, clubbing until the early morning, calling the paps to get her picture taken- no school, no age-appropriate friends, no parents or rules or guidance.
That child (FYI Dina: it’s Ali, not Lindsay, who is actually a child) doesn’t really have a chance, does she? Because there is literally nobody in her family/life who can be a role model or protector or parent. At this point, the best we all can come up with is maybe the courts will get involved.

I just do not understand why no one has ‘officially’ checked into her situation. Does her mother…such as she is…live close-by? Is anyone but Lindsay ‘responsible’ for this child? She shouldn’t get to remove the SCRAM and the LAPD shouldn’t have to babysit her. She is going to be overly photoshoped anyway just take the extra time. They wouldn’t let other people do it. Also, she has already broken the terms of her parole once. Bet if it happens she will be drinking quite a few “water” bottles.

I’ve never understood why Ali is living with Lindsay in LA anyway. Why isn’t she living with her mother and going to school like a normal 16 year-old? It’s not like she’s ever going to have any kind of a career in Hollywood. She doesn’t have the looks, and she has no discernible talent of any kind. The best she could ever hope for might be a gig on a soap (as a cracked-out old hooker), but even that is a long shot. She might as well just head back to Long Island now and cut her losses.

Unfortunately, there is no one who can do anything about Ali because she is 16, which is an adult in California (and most other states). It’s too late anyway. That child is way gone down the wrong path and with no real adult to look after her, she’s not coming back. Let’s just wish her luck.

As a former spray-tan addict, I’d lay some of the blame for both of these girls’ often dirty and prematurely old looks on that. I can’t comment on the drugs, which are a big part of it, I’m sure…but I DO know the effects of using too much fake tan. If you don’t regularly exfoliate, go pale for a day or so, then start over–it just builds up in your skin and makes you look like you need a bath in the worst way, and gives your face weird shading that ages you as well. Ick. I gave up being dirty and embraced my pale skin, finally!

Actually, with the right styling, (IMO) I think Ali can be very pretty. Even prettier than Lindsay. With the darker hair she has quite an exotic look about her. Someone else compared her to Freida Pinto in another thread.
Unfortunately, since it appears no one cares about her well being, who knows what will happen to her. Very Sad. As a mom, I wonder how Dina feels when she sees pics such as the one above. Does she care? Does she call / voice her opinion or just shrug and brush it off?

I seriously believe that she is on herion. She looks deathly thin and her lips are almost gray in that top photo. My brother struggled with heroin for the better part of a year (thank god he is clean now), and this is exactly how he looked.

She’s got great cheekbones. There is nothing wrong with her looks at all. It’s too bad no one cares enough about her to look after her well being. I don’t see anything wrong with the first pic – yes she’s thin, but she’s always been thin. I don’t see any drastic differences. It is her expression that is hollowing out her cheekbones.

The age of consent is not the same age at which one is legally considered an adult. She is under 18, therefore, Ali is a minor. In all states except Alabama and Nebraska, where the age of majority is 19.

What kicks me the most about Ali living permanently with Lindsay is the fact that her ‘mother’ is obviously only in denial about Lindsay in her public statements. If I remember correctly, one of Michael’s recorded phone conversations had Dina say something like ‘I’ve begged and pleaded with Lindsay and tried to get her into rehab…’ And Lindsay threw her out of the car or some such. (Never listened to the tapes, just read the write-ups.) That means she is well aware that Lindsay has major issues. While I already don’t understand how she can stay so far away from Lindsay, letting Ali stay in LA goes completely above my head. Is it because Ali is sulking, throwing tantrums and threatening not to be mom’s best friend any more? I just don’t get it.
The least she could do is pack up her remaining minor kid and get her ass to LA asap herself.

Ali didn’t go to a club. She went to Nobu restaurant that night and then was dropped off to Lindsay’s apartment before Lindsay went to Teddy’s nightclub with a friend. She doesn’t club with Lindsay and so far is a well behaved teenager.
