Lindsay Lohan’s former assistant is offered bags of money for tell-all

41918, WEST HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - Wednesday June 23 2010. Lindsay Lohan continues her nocturnal lifestyle with a visit to the Las Palmas club in West Hollywood. The young actress, who is currently wearing an alcohol-monitoring bracelet, is schduled to appear in court on July 6 for a hearing to determine whether or not Lohan had violated her probation stemming from an earlier DUI conviction. Here are some photos of Lindsay Lohan out clubbing last night. Radar asked whether it would possible for Lindsay to just stay home for a few nights, whether she really needs to tempt her sobriety-fate by continually going out to places that serve liquor. To be fair to her, she doesn’t look terrible. Meaning, she doesn’t look drunk and cracked out, although that outfit could use an intervention. I’m sure she just had to go out because she was so upset at all of the lies and set-ups and false representation yesterday, when Bravo called her out for being eight nine ten or eleven hours late to a photo shoot.

Anyway, remember how Lindsay’s assistant quit her ass? PopEater reports that Elinore (the former assistant) has been fielding offers in the five-figure range to tell her story. Elinore has been getting calls from the tabloids, apparently. Didn’t Elinore work for Lindsay for several years? I’m sure she could write a book about that sh-t, it seems like too much for a mere Star Magazine story:

Earlier this month, Lindsay Lohan’s assistant Elinore quit because she couldn’t take the crazy hours and odd behavior anymore, RadarOnline reported. Now, she is allegedly being offered five-figure deals to tell all about her life as Lohan’s assistant, NY Post reports. Sources said the weeklies have been offering cash deals worth around $50,000.

Apparently, the former assistant is scared to sign a deal. “She has so far refused the offers, saying she doesn’t want to tell on Lindsay as she’s afraid she’ll never work again,” a source said.

Elinore had wanted to quit for months but felt guilty about leaving the actress during such a stressful time — as Lohan had to begin wearing her court-ordered alcohol-monitoring anklet.

A source tells RadarOnline, “Lindsay met Elinore through a mutual friend and she began spending more and more time at Lindsay’s apartment. She was still paying rent on her own place but essentially was living at Lindsay’s.”

“After a few months, Lindsay’s up and down moods and her 24/7 demands just got to be too much,” the source continued. “Lindsay can be really bossy and mean when she doesn’t get her own way, and Elinore wasn’t even getting paid some of the time.”

[From PopEater]

I think Elinore should continue playing this game, see if she can hike up the offers until she gets something six-figure. Of course, it will all depend on how good her story is, and how much of it she’s willing to tell on the record. A good Lohan confessional with all of the dirty sex and drug details would be worth far more than $50,000 in my opinion. And I think Lindsay’s prosecutor must know that Elinore’s got the dirt, because they want Elinore to testify too! Oh, just wait for it. It will get good.

Lies *rage tweet* it’s all lie I tell you. The pictures are fake. The vidoes are CGI

Isn’t Lindsay’s life an open book?
Is it wrong that I feel kind of bad for her?

Hmm, depends on the contract, (if any), that Lindsay and the assistant have agreed upon. I believe most actors/actresses have contracts written up to directly deter these ‘tell alls’, etc.

It would be nice if Elinore could at least call Lindsay on some the shit she’s been spouting lately – an insider’s perspective would definitely help. And I know this is mean but I hope she does testify against Blohan. She needs to have some karma-style payback and start getting her shit together.

I am with you Kaiser, she should hold out for way more than $50k. But I wonder if Lindsanity or her pee-pole were smart enough to demand a Confidentiality Agreement.

Hey, that is what “fictional” novels are for- right?

@ Cue: I would have also thought that there would have been a confidentiality clause, but is LL actually doing any thinking these days?

If Elinore wants to make some money, she’d better do it before it becomes part of public knowledge through her testifying.

Oh god Elinore PLEASE write a book. She probably has enough dirt on Blowhan to make Kathy Griffin piss her pants with excitement.

I’ll bet if she plays her cards right and keeps declining offers but hinting that she has awesome tales to tell, someone will offer her six figures and then she’d be a fool not to take it. A fool, I tell you!

Also, Blowhan has to go out clubbing every night because she so stupid that she can’t be entertained unless the music is loud enough to deafen and there are bright lights everywhere. I mean, she can’t sit at home and read or watch TV…she might accidently learn something!

How come “Elinore” doesn’t have a last name? I haven’t done a ton of research on this but on the two Celebitchy posts, plus the quotes, she never has a last name.

That makes me a little bit suspicious that there is no Elinore.

I’d hold out for more too. I’d be shocked if Lohan thought enough to have a confidentiality clause, but who knows.
I agree, DoMa – she’d better do it before testifying!

LindyLou: Agree totally with you! I would love to hear what Elinore has to say & I hope she can tell us some of what’s really happened. Lindsay would totally freak but she sure needs a dose of reality.

If I was Elinore, I’d hold out for AT LEAST $500K. What is $50k other than one year’s worth of salary?

Yea, the Lowlifehans don’t seem like the type to have the insight to have the help sign confidentiality agreements.

If there’s a confidentiality agreement Lindsay could sue her for millions. Also if the assistant is a professional, not just a random friend, nobody would ever hire her. Seriously a book on Lindsay? I don’t mind reading a tabloid story about her every so often but do people really want to read a book about her? I just don’t see the interest/demand for it.

  16. Bryan says:

If it’s true that she wasn’t even being paid for part of the time, I’d say any confidentiality clause was invalid. You can’t just stiff your assistants and then expect them to still hold up their end of the deal. Contracts go both ways.

  17. d says:

i frankly don’t think a book would tell us anything new or surprising. i think it would be same old, same old. but then again, people would buy it anyway and publishers know that. but hey, $50,000? that’s enough to start over somewhere else. Does that chick really want to be an assistant all her life anyway?

  18. skeptical says:

I agree with Bryan.. if Elinore wasn’t being sufficiently paid for all her time then any contract should be void.

And I can totally believe that elinore was run into the ground. Remember how near-death Samantha was looking towards the end? It’s like Lindsay cycles through people or something.
