Former ‘OC’ actress Mischa Barton, who hasn’t had much of a career since being killed off that show, is supposed to be entering a plea agreement for her DUI bust last year. Barton was stopped last December for suspicion of DUI and the cops also found marijuana on her. Because, why just drink and drive like all those other Hollywood starlets, when you can drink, get stoned and drive?
“O.C.” wanna been Mischa Barton has decided to take a plea bargain in her DUI case — clever girl that one.
A source tells TMZ that at her court date on Thursday she’ll plead no contest to the DUI charge. In exchange, the marijuana charge will be dropped and the driving without a license rap will be reduced to an infraction.
Greasy’s ex-GF will then have to serve three years of unsupervised probation, attend an alcohol education class and pay a fine.
A source tells us this is “fairly standard” for a first-time offender like Miss Mischa, who was arrested last December, adding that she’s “learned her lesson.
“Fairly standard,” my ass! Maybe it’s “fairly standard” for Hollywood starlets, but if Mischa had been driving anywhere else in the country, she would be wearing an orange jumpsuit right now. Which might be an improvement over her regular attire. This girl is absolutely useless in my opinion- a shitty actress, not all that pretty and a horrible dresser — and that was before I remembered she actually used to date Brandon Davis. And don’t even get me started on her last ex, Cisco “Bocce Balls” Adler. As for learning her lesson, my guess is that Mischa learned the following lesson: she is not famous or talented enough to turn a DUI bust into a career boost. If it didn’t work for Lohan, it definitely will not work for her.

How can it be that the majority of our laws in this country can be so draconian, but we let people off all the time for DUI?
I don’t give Europe a whole lot of credit, but they sure as hell get that right. In Romania I hear they lock you up for 60 days on your first offense. That might seem harsh, but tell that to a family that will never see their child again because of some dumbass too stupid to call a cab.

I got a DUI when I was 20 & that is pretty much the penalty I faced. It actually is fairly standard Except that I didn’t get to plead no contest, I had to plead guilty.
But if I had been driving with no license & had herb in the car I would have gone straight to jail.
The thing that gets me is that those kind of charges probably wouldn’t have been dropped for a non-celeb

Right she is a third rate actress, and the only reason she got roles is because she is SKINNY. She has nothing else going for her. If she had had 10 extra pounds on her body she would never have been on any t.v. show at all. Watch out Mischa !! Don’t eat too much !!
