It actually is <i>fairly standard</i> Except that I didn't get to plead no contest, I had to plead guilty. But if I had been driving with no license & had herb in the car I would have gone straight to jail. The thing that gets me is that those kind of charges probably wouldn't have been dropped for a non-celeb I got a DUI when I was 20 & that is pretty much the penalty I faced. But if I had been driving with no license & had herb in the car I would have gone straight to jail.

The thing that gets me is that those kind of charges probably wouldn’t have been dropped for a non-celeb

I don't give Europe a whole lot of credit, but they sure as hell get that right. In Romania I hear they lock you up for 60 days on your first offense. That might seem harsh, but tell that to a family that will never see their child again because of some dumbass too stupid to call a cab.
