CB and I had a much too long conversation about “model”/professional girlfriend Amber Rose yesterday. Like, I maybe it was because yesterday’s news was so slow? I don’t know. But for some reason CB and I sat here and shot the breeze for way too long, theorizing about whether Kanye West and Amber had broken up, and whether she was just trying to get attention or if she was now boning Reggie Bush. It all started when Bossip had this story about Amber and Reggie looking really friendly at some event over the weekend. Reggie, having recovered from dating Kim Kardashian, seemed to be eyeing up the ladies at the party, and Amber caught his attention (photo here). This seemed weird to me, because as far as I could remember, Kanye and Amber hadn’t officially declared they were over. Now Us Weekly has a source who claims that Kanye dumped Amber – because he needed to concentrate on his art. So Amber’s looking for a new player.
Kanye West and his model-girlfriend Amber Rose are taking a break, a source close to the rapper, 33, tells UsMagazine.com.
“They are still good friends,” the source tells Us. “Kanye is consumed with recording his comeback record in Hawaii and had to shut it all off. When he’s in work mode, he can’t handle a relationship. He told Amber he needs to devote everything right now to his craft.”
Rose, 27, isn’t sulking.
Over the Fourth of July weekend, she was spotted making out with Kim Kardashian’s ex Reggie Bush at Axe Lounge in NYC’s The Hamptons — as West’s hit “Flashing Lights” blared from the speakers.
Nevertheless, a second source tells Us: “I wouldn’t say it’s over for good” for West and Rose. “It’s always off-and-on when it’s convenient for these two. He doesn’t go out anymore and she loves it, so he lets her. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are seen together again next week.”

I was never really sure whether I could buy Amber and Kanye’s relationship, so hearing that they broke up isn’t that big. I always thought it was more performance art on Kanye’s part. Or the desire to just have a steady girlfriend, a “muse” that he could have on his arm. Or maybe it was true love and Kanye just needed to put his art first. I don’t know. But I’m glad I finally have an answer to my question about whether Amber was getting her Reggie Bush freak on behind Kanye’s back.

I don’t understand the attraction to this woman.
Is she even human? Looks like an android,(and behaves like one) I never heard her speak.
Why are some blogs making a big deal of this? Reggie Bush is cheap and Amber needs a man to support her. At least Kim has her own income coming in. Reggie is not going to support any females lifestyle. Reggie is photographed in the club talking to Reggie and they supposedly arrive together oh well. Reggie has so many other women he rotates, this is something else to do for now.

I think that middle picture, the one of them at the MTV VMAs, is the perfect explanation of their relationship: him kissing on his beautiful trophy, her trying to find her light.

How can Reggie go for less? Kim makes her money and is super super woman compared to Amber…so i wonder. Anyway-beauty cant ensure happiness though. But Kim has it all….

@ Victoria… all I know about her is that she is white and black, she “models”, and used to date Kanye…i’m not sure of the percentage of alien though 🙂
But I thought she was rumored to be a lesbian and was only dating Kanye so that a) she could gain more name recognition, and b) Kanye could look straight.

I don’t really know enough about her to make any sort of comments on her personality, or whether she is a gold-digger, or anything like that.
I do, however, find her look to be so unusual, yet still attractive. She has flawless skin. A great body. I’m wondering if she would just look like a normal girl if she had hair.

Amber Rose seems interesting, a quality Kim lacks. I’ve seen a few episodes of the Kardashian show, and every time Kim speaks I get punched in the face with her vapidity.

she is stunning, ya’ll are being a little country in your assessments of her, i must say….! she’s superhumanly beautiful. and the android thing is her gimmick, it just separates her from the crowd. i’m happy for her that she moved on from kanye. i bet it wasn’t too easy. i would like to see if she has any actual talents or if she’s just a babe. which would be fine too, but if she has more aspects to her, she could well become a megastar.
