Genesis 3.17 And unto Adam he said. Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying. Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow (toil) shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life. Genesis 45.18 And take your father and your households, and come unto me: and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and ye shall eat the fat of the land. and how much was he paid, to bite scientology in the arse.

They aren't secretive. Bibles, Korans, ect are available for very low cost or often you can get them for free. There is no big secret that you have to wait years and pay endless money to learn. Sure there are "Christian" cults, and other mainstream religions have cults using their basic beliefs but basically cults require secrecy, insularity, they require members to break off from any non-members in their life. That's the difference from cult and religion. The tenets of a legitimate religion are freely available. They aren’t secretive.
