19 year-old Montana Fishburne is the oldest daughter of actor Lawrence Fishburne. You’ve probably heard that she made a professionally produced porn film that will be released in a couple of weeks. Montana wants to be famous and instead of asking her dad for help, maybe taking some acting or singing classes or trying to score invitations to events where she can show up and get noticed, she’s putting out a sex tape because it worked for Kim Kardashian. She even explained it just like that, and said “I’ve watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape by Vivid. I’m hoping the same magic will work for me. I’m impatient about getting well-known and having more opportunities and this seemed like a great way to get started on it.” The thing is that do-nothing famous girls like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton were sort-of known before their sex tapes came out, and they both tried to act like they were mortified by them while cashing in on the sly.
Montana thinks she’s so smart, though, and that she’s going to be rich and famous. She says her dear dad is upset at that news, but that once he sees how the paparazzi follow her (I’m reaching with that, but you get the point) he’ll stop judging her decision to be an adult film star and will come around. She also admits that she didn’t tell her dad, who divorced her mom about 15 years ago, that she was going to put out a sex tape. The poor guy must have found out through the media! What a self absorbed delusional little girl she is.

Montana Fishburne — aka “Chippy D” — tells TMZ, “[My dad] is very upset. I heard that he’s mad at me but I haven’t spoken to him yet. I feel pretty confident that I can work things out with him.”
But here’s where she might be wrong — adding, “I think he wants to support me in everything I do, and though he sees this now as a negative, I believe in time he will view it as a positive.”
According to Montana, she and Morpheus have always been on good terms — in fact, up until the whole porn thing, she claims they spoke on a weekly basis. However, Montana also tells us she never gave her dad a heads-up on the porno news.
Montana tells us she plans to meet with her father soon to hash everything out.
As we previously reported, Montana decided to star in a sex tape for Vivid Entertainment in the hopes that she can further her career in Hollywood … a la Kim Kardashian.

A lot of you think drugs are involved, and that could be the case. She sounds so sure of herself and kind of proud of this bold career move. It will probably lead to more porn and a hard knock life instead of the reality show she’s hoping for. There’s a big difference between acting like you’re ashamed to have made a sex tape with your boyfriend and admitting you worked with professionals to have sex on screen and further your non-career.

Divorced parents. Scattered children.
Abyssmal public schools that are fine for us but not good enough for our “public service” spouting politicians whose own kids go to private schools funded by the insider deals they enrich themselves on.
A culture that disdains so many commonsense, conventional values.
Maybe these are a few factors contributing to a generation of increasingly lost kids.

What an imbecile. God, what is this world coming to? This is why we turned down opportunities for our kid to be on tv. There are so many flaws in her thinking, the first being that she is not even remotely pretty, and second, as brought up before, Kim K was already fairly well known, on her own. This girl is only known for being her fathers daughter. The third being that there are a lot of women that do porn, doesn’t get them movie or tv roles, or make them famous. Also, Kim is famous & makes a lot of money with her lifestyle and nudie shots and reality show that was put together by her mom, but she isn’t exactly respected in the industry, and isn’t likely to be offered an oscar nominated part at any time soon.

I disagree with jane16 that Montana is “not even remotely pretty.” I think she’s VERY pretty, and unfortunately also very deluded. If she wants to have a shameless porn career, so be it. Yes, and I’m sure that Laurence Fishburne has never watched a porno movie in his life. Hmm. Is porn OK for other people’s daughters, but not his own?
Some women are forced into porn or prostitution, because they are broke or drug addicts or have abusive partners. Others choose it, and Montana Fishburne seems to be one of the latter.
In another thread today, a lot of posters are highly supportive of the transgender man who chose to give birth to three children.
Is the conventional wisdom now that it’s OK to choose your gender identity, but not OK to choose to perform sex for money? In both situations, it’s the woman’s own body at stake.

@CandyKay, you’re mixing apples and oranges. No one suggests Montana cannot choose to go into porn, we’re just suggesting that it’s a moronic idea to try and get famous that way. And indeed, it is. I’ve got no issue with her choosing porn as a vocation, but you have to admit her logic here is bananas!

With the exception of Traci Lords, no one has ever made a successful transition from porn to mainstream entertainment. And you can’t exactly call Lords’ mainstream career a success.
This poor girl sees any kind of attention as good attention. I still say part of the blame for this belongs with blogs/tabloids and us as readers. If we looked the other way, hopefully they’d stop shaming themselves for attention.

I think this is one of the saddest stories i have read in the past week, I myself just turned 18, I am going to the air force to pay for college and to not fall behind in life. To think that someone like montana, who has all of the resources she does and all off the opportunities only to choose a bottom barrel porn career. I’m not judging porn stars most come from low income families and other things but this is just ridiculous in soooo many ways!!
I do like Kim K but not because she got famous for the sex tape I like her style and make up its fun to apply certain things that “celebs” do into your life but to do something so degrading at such a young age is mortifying to me.

@Candy Kay- that is a really good point but I think a few factors make it different. And I agree to some extent. What I think makes a difference to people is:
First her age and father/background.
Second no one stood to make a large profit if he decided to have a child. Vivid on the other hand is going to make a bunch of money on this and probably made vague promises they couldn’t keep about what this would do for her (and maybe even that her dad would understand).
Third, he wanted children and is getting children and when people that would make good parents work and make it happen for themselves people are usually supportive. She wants fame at any price, something most people look down upon.
Forth, he went in knowing the risks, costs, and benefits for the most part, she on the other hand went in with a poorly thought through plan and huge expectations. He, like most moms, hopefully will be glad he did it; she on the other hand may have made a foolish mistake she can never take back. Unlike other actresses who go into porn as a last resort this will follow her around. She used her real name and got so much press for it even years from now people will still remember and can easily look it up. Yes, they can find what he did too, but I am sure he is proud what he and his partner created together.

Though we have reached the point of culutral evolution in the West where we have relaxed the social mores surrounding the taboo of sex, let’s not pretend that sex on camera for money is simply an erotic, orgiastic romp at the Jones’.
There are extenuating factors that make this enterprise far from innocuous entertainment. There are usually seedy, ethically equivocal elements involved: drugs, violence, perpetuity of subversive cultural obsessions that reveal the sketchier aspects of collective psyche. It’s veritably damaging for the people involved, most often women who are young girls from dysfunctional backgrounds. So, please don’t make this an issue of liberalism and sex because in reality, it is nothing of the sort.

My son, who’s 18, only knows Kim K. for the mag covers and what he’s heard of the television shows. He’d never heard of her thing with RayJ. or anything else. When I was joking around with him once and said something about her being peed on, he was completely clueless until I gave him a little sketchy background and when he told his friends, none of them knew it either.
Sadly, I actually have to wonder if Montana ever did have anything come of this, in five years or so, would the 18 year old kids not really paying attention then know anything about this tape?

Yes, both scenarios have to do with human bodies, but thats is where the similarities end. It’s too obvious too type how different they are.
Also, whats with the “oh, I had to do porn as a last resort” excuse? If you are not making it as an actor/actress, how would this help, AT ALL? If acting isnt paying the bills, go get a real job. Just because porn is in the same realm as acting shouldnt make it an opinion, you dont HAVE to be on camera – makes me think most of those “hard-up” actors arent actually all that embarassed, and that they are really all just one shade away from skeezy porn stars.

She will really regret this later on. As the daughter of a well-respected movie star, I can’t imagine how this came to pass. Instead of just calling the girl stupid and delusional (which may certainly be the case), I’d like to know more about her childhood and relationship with her parents. A kid doesn’t get that messed up in a minute (just like people said of Mel Gibson with his abuse of women and children). There’s a history to this girl’s life which, I’m sure, would be very telling.
