When I ditched my wig I felt so liberated - like I wasn't hiding from something. I always felt like the wig helped to hide the fact that I had cancer. Was I ashamed? I don't know - just glad that part of my life is over and like Robin - "I am not my hair" and I'm free... cancer free, clear bill of health and proud breast cancer survivor.
