  1. Ooh, this is not the same person who is on the cover of Vogue this month…She looks like she has truly adopted the new ‘British Look”. Chicken cutlet cheeks and center parted blond hair with a smidge of roots showing. (Think Heather and Madonna.)

    Down with individuality!

  2. She looks ridiculous.

Rhianna or Miley Cyrus might have pulled this off, but not a mother-of-two in her thirties.

  3. i dunno. All i can see are her specTACULAR legs. Holy CRAP.

  4. CandyKay: So if you didn’t know she was a “mother of two” it would be ok? Wow, how age-ist you are! She looks great. Geez, since when is being in your 30s akin to over the hill? Should she wear a shawl and reading glasses?

  5. With legs like that, she could wear a fungus-covered potato sack for all I care.

  6. wow, anyone who thinks she looks bad must simply be jealous of those incredible legs… 8O

  7. Her legs do look great, all I can see is that pinchy face and dark eye makeup though - she looks way older than she is. Lovely lady but probably not what Gwyneth is going for.

  8. Awwww, I love her! She looks damn GOOD & yes, the only way it could’ve been better is if she’d brought Chris-YUM!!!

And to ‘CandyKay’-don’t you think it’s more fitting a WOMAN in her 30’s wear that than a YOUNG GIRL like Miley?! She’s like what, 15?! C’mon!!! 8O
I think Miley is well on her way to the path of self-destruction already!

  9. she rocks. she’s been working out hard with madonna and it shows. kudos to her for being a sexy mom, even though she has all the time and resources in the world to do it. i think the post was so snarky. cameron diaz frequently wears things that short because she has great legs and they are about the same age, but no one says anything about diaz because she isnt married and doesnt have kids. its an unfair stupid biased criticism.

  10. great legs, kudos. but she´s too old for this kind of dress. the skirt length suitable for the early 20s

  11. Come on. She looks fine. It’s the trend to show your legs. Everyone does.

I fail to see the logic of the headline.

  12. Ok, she’s got great legs. But the outfit doesn’t work. It’s like she’s trying soooooooooo hard that it comes off awkward looking. She’s still young and but this outfit doesn’t work for anyone over 25 and yes, shorter.

  15. She does have nice legs but there’s something wrong with her knees.

  16. Beautiful legs… But that doesn’t make a tunic length top a dress anyway.
Especially when the bottom isn’t straight hemmed.

I am, however, still trying to get over the fact that she now does her hair just like I do. I need to change it before people start saying “Oh, you copy Gwyneth Paltrow!”. :x

  17. I think maybe Cameron Diaz is to blame, she pulls off the thirties chick in too short stuff so well - but she manages to make it look casual, whereas Gwyneth, while having great legs, looks too fussy, trying too hard. It can be done, she’s just too prim and proper to pull off borderline slutty hemlines, if that makes any sense!

  18. I’m torn. She DOES have fabulous, to-die-for legs. But I tend to agree with the “fashion rule” that women over 35 shouldn’t go that short. There’s something so “Look How Hard I’m Trying to be 21″ about it. Or maybe that just applies to your average preschool mom. Gwyneth (and Cameron, et al) ARE in a slightly different league…

  19. This willprobabaly be the nicest thing I’ve EVER said about her, but great gams. Seriously, those are nice legs.

  20. I think that she looks beautiful! So she’s having a little fun and changing things up a bit. No harm in that!

  21. I am in my twenties and I wouldn’t wear anything that short. There are ways to show off your legs without coming this close to showing off your panties too.

  22. I’ve got nice legs, or so I thought, but those are just flamin’ perfect! The dress is a little too short, but otherwise she looks amazing.

  23. She’s got it!
    She’s flaunting it!
    Stop bitching about it.

oh yeah…you’re just doing your job

  24. What the hell is wrong with her face? Looks like someone’s been abusing Botox and cheek-fat injections. Between that and the dress, she looks ridiculous.

  25. Maybe she’s adopted London fashions? Stella McCartney was pushing the supershort shorts for a while, and Gwyneth sometime takes fashion risks.

  27. I think she looks really REALLY good. I dont understand why you cant show off your legs when youre over 30..what rule is that?I wish someone would tell me at which exact date you should start dressing conservatively.I think its short, yes, but her decolte and arms are covered so its not vulgar.I think the dress is amazing, and shes amazing too.
