Back in June, Rihanna debuted a new hair style – a very, very short, half-shaved mushroom-cap cut, dyed bright red. It was pretty hideous, in my opinion. I do think Rihanna is a pretty girl too – she can pull off certain looks that are downright ugly on other people. But this hair style was just terrible. Anyway, I was looking at these new photos of Rihanna in NYC yesterday, and it looks like she’s keeping the electric red color, but she’s growing out the “mushroom cap” effect. It’s not a kind of shaggy bob, which I think looks great on her, although it sort of looks like the same style as The Bieb’s. Thoughts?
In other Rihanna news, people are still talking about the video she and Eminem did for their single “Love The Way You Lie” starring Dominic Monighan and “video girl” Megan Fox. While doing press for his new film role, Chris Brown notably refused to answer questions about the song and video (and content). Which was a wise decision, honestly. Also: Eminem’s grandma wants him to date Rihanna. Ha!
Eminem’s grandma Betty has said her grandson would be the perfect boyfriend for singer Rihanna. The US rapper has teamed up with Rihanna, 22, for their new single Love The Way You Lie.
Betty recently admitted that she would love to see the two of them hook up.
She said to Britain’s Heat magazine: ‘I can totally see what any girl [including Rihanna] would see in him. He’s so charming; he has always had adorable, beautiful blue eyes and this charming, wonderful smile.’
Betty added that she thinks the Rude Boy singer would be a great match for her grandson.
She said: ‘Rihanna would make a suitable partner for Marshall. But he needs to enjoy life and not get carried away with any relationships at the moment.’

That girl has the worst style. Her hair is always horrid, her outfits are almost worst than her hair and the ghetto tattoos are just cheap looking. The sound of her voice is like sandpaper to me. She does have really beautiful, unblemished skin.

Wow grandma read my mine! I totally think Princess RiRi and Em would make a wonderfull couple. I think Hip Hop needs another high profile pair just like Jay-Z and Beyonce. And Ri and Em are it, too bad she is a Pisces like me and is not the type to leave her current boyfriend for someone else. The media would go crazy for this pairing.

She is such a pretty girl with a banging body, and her hair has always ends up distracting from that.
That said, she’s gonna be in the Battleship movie with Taylor Kitsch and Skarsgard. She should shave her head ala Demi Moore in G.I. Jane.

she is so pretty she can wear long hair, short hair or a buzzcut. and her skin is really amazing. i know she probably has a ton of makeup on, but still. makeup doesn’t hide everything; just ask george clooney’s girlfriend.

I hate her bozo red hair. The girl is beautiful. Why must she always ruin it by choosing looks that make her seem cheap and trashy? See all of her stage outfits for further reference.
I know this sounds horrible, but I honestly think we would have all forgotten about her a long time ago if not for the Chris Brown incident. What happened to her was horrible, and I know for me personally it made me view her with so much sympathy that I actually feel guilty saying anything negative about her at all whether it has to do with her personal life or not.
When “hard” came out I thought “oh man, this is terrible. But, she’s been traumatized. Maybe nipple pasties and mickey mouse ears are just how she deals with pain.”. But, the truth is that if she had been anyone else I would’ve said something closer to “she has to walk around mostly naked and straddle a cannon because we’ve already heard all three or four notes she’s capable of hitting.”
I like her song with Eminem and I wish her the best in her personal life. I just don’t find her to be exceptionally talented.

No one’s hair grows that quickly in two months. My hair grows really fast and my hair (in Feb.) was as short as her original cut and it’s nowhere near that long now.
