Lindsay Lohan is definitely going to be released from rehab early, maybe this week

lohan12

I hate it when Dina Lohan is right. And she was right about Lindsay Lohan getting out of rehab early. When Dina told Matt Lauer that Lindsay was definitely going to leave rehab ahead of her scheduled, judge-mandated 90-day treatment, many experts noted that Dina was full of it, per usual. Just because Judge Marsha Revel was “fired, basically” (she actually recused herself), didn’t mean that the new judge and the UCLA rehab facility would immediately agree to letting Lindsay go early. But TMZ is reporting that’s exactly what happened, and that Lindsay will be getting out very soon. There’s also something about how Lindsay’s cracked-out addictions aren’t as bad as everyone thought…?

Turns out Lindsay Lohan will indeed be getting out of the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital … as early as this week, according to sources familiar with the situation.

Our sources say Lindsay’s doctors have not written their final report, but they have already concluded her psychiatric problems are not nearly as severe as first thought. We’ve been told there were indications Lindsay was bipolar but that proved not to be the case.

In addition, the doctors do not believe the drug dependency issues are as severe as first thought. As we reported, Lindsay had big issues with Adderall, but the docs don’t think it requires much more inpatient care.

Bottom line … sources say it’s “very possible” Lindsay is getting out this week and will begin getting outpatient care.

One obstacle — the judge must approve early release. We’re told once the doctors write their final report, Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, can go back into court and ask the judge to spring her client from her 90-day rehab sentence.

If the medical professionals think releasing her is a good idea, the judge will almost certainly go along with it.

[From TMZ]

I wonder what “outpatient care” consists of? In my mind, the doctor just shoots Lindsay with a dart and leaves her unconscious (and tagged!) body at the Chateau Marmont beside a crack pipe, a bottle of Jack Daniels and a pack of Newports. “Outpatient care” indeed.

One more thing – TMZ also reports that Lindsay is “passionate” about “mentoring” some of the screwed up girls she met at the UCLA rehab. Aren’t they lucky?

    Why do I think this girl’s last chance recused herself? :^(

  2. YT says:

    Party time !!!

  3. Kitten says:

    I don’t believe that she’s not an addict. They need to get a second opinion from a different doctor….

  4. mary jane says:

    Party time and Dina’s hosting.

  5. GatsbyGal says:

    Well, it’s obvious at this point that absolutely no one cares about her getting better. I don’t think she’ll make it past Christmas.

  6. Crash2GO2 says:

    That’s interesting.

  7. Hautie says:

    Is anyone really surprised.

    Look at how many times Charlie Sheen and Robert Downey got busted, arrested and toss in county lock up. Before they hit rock bottom.

    Especially Charlie. His own father finally got him arrested and tossed into jail then court forced rehab before Charlie got off the bad sh*t.

    Robert Downey did not get clean till he spent that year in a California prison.

    Unfortunately, Lohan is going down that same road. She has not seen her last cop or rehab. And two weeks in a locked down rehab has not cured her. So get ready for more cracked out behavior.

  8. saintdevil says:

    She thinks she is still alive because she has learned from her mistakes?!

    This girl is completely delusional.

  9. DetRiotgirl says:

    It’s raining, I have the flu and this brat is getting out of rehab early… The morning is not off to a good start!

  10. Green Is Good says:

    *eye roll* Colored me shocked.

  11. Green Is Good says:

    Just for added hilarity, there are 6 ads on this page is for rehab clinics. ROFL!

  12. DetRiotgirl says:

    Oh, and one more thing. In that top pic, she seriously looks like she’s wearing an oven mitt on her foot. Maybe it goes with the kitchen picture on the bottom?

  13. Praise St. Angie! says:

    totally agree, hautie.

    she’ll be lucky if she’s not dead by the new year.

  14. Marjalane says:

    So in other words, all the drama and theatre of Lindseys “troubles” were generated by what, the media? I get that this brat is a celebrity, (crackwhore) but what was in it for the Dr.s that originally diagnosed her? Are we supposed to accept that Lindsey’s passed out behavior in the bushes is just par for the course for a Hollywood party girl? What a supportive example the courts will set for future rehab patients!

    Can’t wait to read the inspiring quotes from Lindsey in next week’s Kneepads mag.

  15. Ruby Red Lips says:

    Cr*p!

    Not as bad drug usage as expected… so your face gets completely wrecked and aged 50 years by only doing occassional drugs…wtf!!!?

    Agree with above poster she is in big trouble if she gets out now…talk about special celeb treatment (or lack therefore of)

  16. meme says:

    wow, talk about special treatment. she can OD and die soon enough for me. yeah, i said it. is her probabation period being shortened to a day or so?

  17. sapphire says:

    Great, so the antics are the result of being an asshat rather than a drug issue or a treatable emotional condition. Sure I believe it.

  18. jammama says:

    I guess I was right on this one….people speculate and don’t know what she does behind closed doors. People just love to talk shit. Hopefully, she gets out early and gives all the haters the middle finger while doing so.

  19. Ruby Red Lips says:

    @ Jammamma

    No idea who you are or whether you’re one of Lindsay’s girlfriends or employees, but it doesn’t take a genuis to see that she’s not healthy…

  20. Whatever says:

    They may as well let her out. The girl has no desire to get better. Ten years in rehab won’t help someone who doesn’t want to stop using drugs and alcohol. She’ll end up dead one day, like so many others before her. Sad.

  21. Jean says:

    So…seeing as to how that means she won’t be cured of all her issues…can we consider the scheduled media frenzy, including book deals and what not, called off ? That would be the only good thing to come of this.

  22. Eileen says:

    So she is just a cracked out spoiled bitch and not mental. Lovely.

  23. Innocent says:

    This isn’t special treatment it is a psychiatric hospital most people don’t stay inpatient for more than a few weeks.
    This is a lockdown facility why should she stay there any longer than required.
    If she went to Morning Side then that was a 90 day program with progression but this is just like you are stuck there until they let you out .

  24. meme says:

    @innocent, well then why doesn’t she have to spend the rest of her 90 days at a regular rehab? because they paid off the doctors, that’s why.

  25. gretchen says:

    i’d love to comment on this subject but for some reason my comments take up to 2 hrs to clear moderation and then when finally posted the conversation is well past my timely comment….why is that? i don’t notice it happening to anyone else, seems like people can actually ‘respond’ to someone else’s comments in a linear fashion. is it just me or does this happen to others??

  26. Kitten says:

    It happens to me too Gretchen. Not sure why…

  27. Eileen says:

    I think its because they have to moderate and approve every comment which takes some time with so many posts and posters.

  28. Jazz says:

    I just can’t with this crackhead anymore!

  29. GatsbyGal says:

    @Gretchen – Happens to me aaaaaall the time, but mostly because my comments are vulgar and full of naughty words.

  30. jammama says:

    @Rubby Red

    It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that a medical doctor or a psychiatrist would know better than you if Lilo is mentally capable of leaving rehab.

    You talk about Lindsey’s health; people are always saying there is something majorly wrong with her and what’s funny is that I think there is something majorly wrong with obese people and their addiction to food. Who are you or any hater to know what’s good for her when you don’t personally know her or actually know her addiction habits? It’s all speculation.

  31. debbie says:

    There’s one photo of Lindsay bent over a stove. Then I realized she isn’t cooking anything…she’s lighting a cigarette! LOL!

  32. meme says:

    @debbie – it’d be funny if her extensions caught fire.

  33. Nadia says:

    Hi Gretchen – you are not alone. I’ve been on moderation for over a year. It takes ages for my posts to appear + it always makes me feel unwelcome here. If every comment is moderated as suggested by Eileen, then I feel better!

    I think it started happening when I (politely – honest) challenged Jaybird – on a Lindsay Lohan post of all things!

  34. Jean says:

    @jammama
    First off, I can’t take any adult seriously who keeps talking about “haters”. People who have an opinion that differs from your own, are not automatically “hating” on someone/something just because they have an alternate view on things. I might just as well call you a bigot.
    Whether you agree or not, Lindsay Lohan is an addict, who has proven herself incapable of staying under the radar and living a healthy life (hint: 4 times in rehab). She herself has said so in the past.
    I’m by no means a fan of Lindsay, but I don’t wish a death by drug overdose upon anyone. Furthermore, it is sad to see a young woman (or anyone really) self-
    destruct in the public eye.
    Note to self: Do not feed the trolls.

  35. CLove says:

    After seeing Dina on The Today Show, it seems not only possible but probable that Lindsay’s problems may not stem entirely from drugs but instead from a large case of “entitled, delusional douchebag-itis.” Clearly, it’s hereditary, so Lindsay may be doomed to a lifetime of irresponsibility and denial if she doesn’t grow the hell up. With her idiot parents, who knows if that’s possible?

  36. jammama says:

    @Jean

    Who cares if you do or don’t take me seriously. When I refer to a ‘hater,’ I’m referring to someone that doesn’t know the exact details/facts and are bashing Lilo out of pure speculation. If medical professionals conclude that she is well enough to leave rehab this early, then yes, people that have been talking shit are haters. Easy as that.

  37. meme says:

    @clove – “it probable that Lindsay’s problems may not stem entirely from drugs but instead from a large case of “entitled, delusional douchebag-itis.”

    were i given the special treatment hohan has been given all her adult life, i’d like an entitled beeyotch too. the woman is NEVER held accountable for her actions.

  38. Kitten says:

    @CLove-I think Charlie Sheen suffers from this illness as well.
    Unfortunately, I’m not sure if Entitled Douchebagitis is treatable.

  39. Marjalane says:

    I’ve contacted the Cb moderator to ask why I’m always moderated, but never heard anything back. I’ve always assumed I was moderated after I called Miley Cyrus a “questionable” name, but I’ve seen WAY worse things posted on this site, so?

    Also- there are *some* posters on this site who argue and are contrary just for the sake of being that way.

  40. mr. stinky fishface says:

    Where the hell are her nipples in the top picture!??! FREAKING WEIRD!

  41. Persistent Cat says:

    @jamamma, the term “hater” is extremely immature. I agree with Jean, I can’t take your comments seriously if you accuse everyone of being “haters.”

  42. emu says:

    @jammama: you talk about ‘haters’ like a true expert. isn’t that ironic.

  43. Aqua says:

    she and her family clearly aren’t taking any of this seriously. You can’t help someone who CLEARLY doesn’t want help or who CLEARLY doesn’t think their is a problem. The only person who can help her now is HERSELF.
    I hate to say this but the gravy train for her has just come in!

  44. mln says:

    I think Lilo has a long way to go before she hits bottom. I think the fact that she wants to “mentor” addicts and convicts may be the start of even worse behavoir.

  45. gg says:

    Lohan ban, oh please…

  46. Cakes says:

    Let the PR circus begin. I can only imagine the non-sense interviews from Lindsay and her mother. I hate it when bitches whine and complain about how hard their ordeal is when they havent been thru s*hit. I want to be surprised at how the justice system has failed but I cant. This girl is gonna squander whats left of her career, fade away, then she will be a blip on entertainment tonight after she overdoses.

  47. Sns02215 says:

    So her moron “mother” thinks that she got a judge fired? Wow! Isn’t this the same person who was turned down for free ice cream recently?

    The only reason that famewhore wants her cash cow (I’m sorry…DAUGHTER) Lindsay released from rehab early is so that the gravy train keeps on a ‘rolling.

  48. jammama says:

    @ Persitent Cat and emu

    Who smelt it, dealt it. Don’t get mad cause you shit-talk Lilo and I’m calling people out on it. When I said ‘haters,’ it was said figuratively and you know exactly what I meant. You both just can’t handle that I have an opposing view and that I have a solid valid point.

    Also, most if not all the comments on Lilo are horribly negative. People are happy that she went to jail or is in rehab. Some people even wish she was dead. I wouldn’t wish any of these dreadful things on anyone. When I say ‘haters’ the comments here speak for themselves, cause I sure wouldn’t call you lovers.

  49. aenflex says:

    Smart people, (and she is smart despite what common opinion is), can HIDE their mental issues, doctors can be fooled. It also doesn’t take a genius to figure out what the medical staff wants to hear, and say it to them. She’s an actress for God’s sake, and she’s not a bad one, either. So she knows what they wanna hear, and can deliver it faultlessly. I’m not surprised at all that she’s getting out early. It is too bad, she does need the help, I think.

  50. Innocent says:

    @meme
    That is a fair point but she has already attended UCLA and has made progress ? there so she the best move recovery wise is for her to become an outpatient at UCLA.
    I would agree if she had actual addictions like illegal drugs and alcohol but she has been sober since May and she was clearly only at UCLA because of the prescription drugs.

  51. Strawberry says:

    Entitled Douchebagitis: Kitten – that is truly inspired. Just awesome!

    @jammama: I think you stumbled onto the wrong site. Please refrain from name-calling, it’s not very becoming on you dear. JJ or Perez will happily have you.

  52. Ruby Red Lips says:

    @ jammamma

    You are so naive if you think celebrities are treated the same as everyone else even by medical staff…

    And if you think Lindsay isn’t in trouble then you are as bad as all the enablers surrounding her

    Agreed with a poster above, your use of the term ‘haters’ is incredibly immature. I don’t wish her dead, that is abhorrent, I just hope that she can find herself again instead of the entitled drug and alcohol addled vile ‘star’ that she has become

    I’m sure Lindsay is your role model…which is terrifying for your sake so I wish you luck!

  53. emu says:

    thank you @strawberry, for pointing out the obvious–something that’s clearly lost on @jammama because he/she/it is so oblivious.

    wasn’t there some ‘hating’ towards overweight people earlier that–unless directly related to Lilo’s unhealthy tendency to pack on poundage or bloat whenever she’s using–seemed really out of place. but morons will be morons… that’s not hating, it’s parlance for ‘grudging acceptance.’

    that being said, i’d love to be getting the $ @jammama clearly is for being in the Lohan fanclub.

  54. Ashley says:

    Where is her Scram in the picture with the zebra jacket and heels? I assumed that’s why she had the weird oven mitt thing in the first picture. Didn’t she have the Scram on until the day she went to jail?

  55. gen says:

    Well if its not drugs or a mental disorder, then why is she the way she is?

  56. jammama says:

    @Strawberry
    Please give me an example of name-calling. I’ve yet to use any profanity. If you are referring to the word ‘hater’ then you need to grab a dictionary.

    @Ruby Red

    I never said or insinuated that celebrities do or don’t get treated differently than normal everyday people. Calling me ‘naive’ is non-productive. Get a grip, thankyouverymuch.

    UCLA has reputable medical facilities. Why do you think the judge decided to send Lilo there? (Take a wild guess). Suggesting that UCLA physicians are treating Lilo in any special fashion has no merit and, again, is speculative. Especially when UCLA facilities are known for being professional and have excellent reputable medical services. Ahem. You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about.

    Of course, people are going to bash me because I’m calling people ‘haters,’ cause they are guilty as charged. I find it funny how some people here act like they are mental specialists but are actually talking-out-of-their-behinds. Talk about naive.

  57. Persistent Cat says:

    @ Jamamma, go back through this thread or other LL posts and look for my comments. I rarely say anything about her and didn’t say anything in this one. But to counter with, “she who smelt it, dealt it,” kind of proves my point.

  58. Ruby Red Lips says:

    @ Persistent Cat

    Nicely put!! ;o)

    @ Jamamma – so I take it you are a in fact a specialist in Lindsay’s health and medical issues?!

    Didn’t think so, so that makes your point as speculative as you say mine is…oh and the other 99% of people that are of the same opinion that I am on this site

  59. emu says:

    CB, when do you pull the plug on someone/something (@jammama) who is clearly being paid to endorse Lindsay Lohan? It’s not like this bot is hiding that she has something invested in the subject at hand, however pathetic that may be.

  60. Jeri says:

    So much for celeb justice.

  61. jammama says:

    @Persistent

    I don’t need to go through threads to look for your comments. You stated that I’m accusing ‘everyone’ of being a hater, when I’m not necessarily doing so. I’m accusing anyone who’s trash-talking Lilo’s mental health without knowing the actual medical facts a hater. It’s nothing personal.

  62. Innocent says:

    @Ashley
    These Vogue Italia pics are before the SCRAM.
    Pre SCRAM – Marc Ecko Muse, 6126, Vogue Italia
    SCRAM- GQ, Maxim and in September Vanity Fair

  63. Praise St. Angie! says:

    man, every time I see that top pic, all I think is “handcuffed kidnap victim wakes up”.

    why are (almost) all of her photoshoots so freakin’ creepy/rapey?

  64. jammama says:

    @Ruby Red

    I am not a specialist in Lilo’s mental health case but I’ll throw a wrench at you anyway.

    An addict or heavy-user usually goes through withdrawals when not using for a period of time. Lilo’s been clean for some time now. You would think that if she’s that much of an addict as people claim then she probably would have been going through some nasty withdrawals and the doctors would committed her for the full 90 days, but evidently, if she is let out soon then she’s not as bad as the media makes her out to be. Many ‘haters’ haven’t taken this into consideration cause they’re too busy trash-talking.

  65. Jean says:

    @jammama
    Addiction to prescription drugs ring a bell?

  66. original kate says:

    does this bitch do anything anymore other than pose for skanky photo shoots and talk about how everyone is against her?

  67. Tia C says:

    It will all come out in the wash, as the saying goes. Her legal troubles are FAR from over. No doubt there will be more. Addiction is a progressive disease, it just keeps getting worse, so we will be treated to more crack drama in the future. And she will be institutionalized again. Whether or not she ever “gets it” a la RDJ remains to be seen, but I highly doubt that will ever happen with her. Not with the cushion of deluded enablement that surrounds her.

    @ original kate: No. No she doesn’t. That is pretty much what her life consists of!

  68. jammama says:

    @Jean

    Media outlets, including this one, reported Lilo was addicted to pills AND METH. Ring a bell?

    Meth is highly addictive and the withdrawal symptoms are not pretty.

  69. MissyA says:

    “If you are referring to the word ‘hater’ then you need to grab a dictionary.”

    This is just all kinds of awesome.

  70. Praise St. Angie! says:

    “Lilo’s been clean for some time now.”

    not exactly. she’s just taking LEGAL drugs now.

    Adderall is just legal meth.

    I knew this doctor once. she treated a friend of mine who was a heroin addict. my friend was told…”it’s not wrong that you’re taking drugs…you’re just taking the WRONG drugs” and proceeded to give her a prescription for methadone and some other VERY addictive painkiller (the name escapes me) as well as a few anti-anxiety and anti-seizure meds. BOTH of which had the same effect as the heroin.

    IMO, LL’s doc is just doing the same thing…substituting a legal drug for an illegal one.

    to say she’s “clean” is a bit of a stretch.

  71. Andrea says:

    I can’t remember reading this, but how long is lohan going to be on probation for afterward? Usually there’s some time like a year or two or something like that, right?

    Or at least the people I’ve know who get sentence and realeased early like this usually had some form of probation.

  72. Crash2GO2 says:

    Well, until we hear (or if we hear) an official diagnosis, we will never know for sure what her problem is/was/will be (I’m not talking about her personality – just strictly physical/mental health).

    It may have been that her Adderall was causing all kinds of troubles as Dr. Drew alluded to in one interview, and she has consistently been on it and doubtlessly abusing it for years. Now they have her off all the meds and stable, there really is no point in keeping her in a medical facility (which we, the taxpayers are paying for). Now she will be back on her own, no doubt with mandatory counseling and drug checks for the next year (I think that is the length of her probation).

  73. dj says:

    She’s probably being quite a handful to deal with on an inpatient basis (remember, she is an INVOLUNTARY patient which are usually non-compliate and VERY resistant to treatment). UCLA might be looking for a hand-off in her treatment plan to any other treatment provider.

  74. javagirl1 says:

    Actually Jammama, as a registered addiction specialist, I can tell you that meth is one of the easier drugs to detox from. Often all the person needs is a lot of sleep. Alcohol and opiate withdrawals are the nasty ones and can require medical detox.

  75. Mrs Odie 2 says:

    If the doctors at UCLA think she’s not as bad as we on Celebitchy all thought, I’m willing to defer to their expertise. She’s a bitch and is only famous for her semi-porn photo shoots and off camera antics, but maybe she’s just an asshole. You don’t get over that in rehab.

  76. aloha says:

    She is as bad as everyone thought and she will be in trouble with the law again very soon. watch and see!

  77. Marie says:

    Oh please let her get out and OD already so the Lohan saga will end.

  78. Persistent Cat says:

    @ Jamamma, I didn’t say you called “everyone” haters, I said the word itself is immature and I really can’t take anyone seriously who uses that term. It’s such an accusatory, white trash kind of word.

  79. Sally says:

    @aenflex: you said it!

  80. CB Rawks says:

    Ho Fatto terribili.
    Indeed.

  81. Confuzzle says:

    She’s getting out early? Hurrah! Who’s going to bring the gift basket of crack and pills to her? Mommy dearest? 😆

  82. gretchen says:

    Oh please let her get out and OD already so the Lohan saga will end.

    @Marie…you do realize OD means DEAD right?

  83. gretchen says:

    because he/she/it is so oblivious.

    @emu, you comment inferring anther poster might be an ‘it’ rather than a he or she smacks of bigotry and intolerance to opinions other than your own, or more likely in your case, popular opinions adopted by you to raise you low self esteem

  84. judyjudy says:

    Oh, I’m just so over this girl. Lindsay Lohan out of rehab… well whooopy-do.

  85. emu says:

    @ gretchen, i am in no way prejudiced towards bots. but you do a spot-on analysis of your own posts. bravo!

  86. Jean says:

    @emu
    Brilliant.

  87. skeptical says:

    ok wait… so lindsay doesn’t have a big drug problem?
    she doesn’t have a diagnosable mental disorder?

    so her habit of public twitter accusation parties /posting peoples’ private phone numbers in public arenas/ breaking windows/ speeding while driving stolen vehicles/ keeping photo crews waiting for 11 hours or more/ throwing cigarettes at someone’s head/ throwing a glass at someone’s head/ “losing” her passport/ having expensive jewels mysteriously disappear when she’s around/ having clothes disappear when she’s around/ fussing over not getting enough free stuff/ staggering drunk out of bars/ falling into cacti/ accusing the world of being against her/ violating her “only drive for work” order to chase Ronson to her gig in Vegas/ having meltdowns on camera/ waiting on camera at a certain someone’s house at like 4am sounding majorly wacked out on something hard.. is just her natural personality?

    what does any non-lohan see in her?

  88. Innocent says:

    @skeptical
    Most of her antics was when was she partying and possibly mixing everything together such as the alcohol,illegal drugs and prescriptions.
    Since May she has been clean and possibly had 1 drink ? that is all the doctors have to go on.

  89. trashaddict says:

    I think dj was right on target and the UCLA docs have had enough of her attitudes. Also, in-hospital units used to keep patients a lot longer in the olden days, now you have to be suicidal or catatonic to be on inpatient treatment, at least if you are here in the midwest or not a celebrity. Totally off topic, the black-and white photo with the funky earring makes her look kind of like Elizabeth Taylor. Now how surreal would that be, Lilo as E.T. and Russell Crowe as Richard Burton. It makes my head spin just thinking about it.

  90. skeptical says:

    couple peeps over at ONTD are saying “maybe this is why Revel was looking into other places” Like Revel knew this would happen. I’m inclined to agree, but why then would the prosecutor get annoyed? Weirdos.

    As for lindsay being “clean”.. I’ll believe it when she does it without being watched like a hawk by scrams and court officials. The “since May” gives that away. She didn’t get “clean” until she was FORCED to.. and that means she’s not clean at all.

    it’s not clean unless its fully voluntary. And permanent. No one was forcing her to party. Or do any of those other things. (losing her passport ALLOWED her to party longer!) She is an adult and its time to stop excusing her actions.

  91. Innocent says:

    Apparently the last straw for the prosecutor was when the Judge on the last day changed the facility to UCLA. Then they had to field media enquiries without beig informed about the situation.
    Apparently she done stuff to anger the Lohans as well so both sides were united against her.
    The D.A was willing to accept Morning Side and that is were Lindsay and her family wanted her to go as it was a proper program. Then on the last day she baffles everyone by changing it to UCLA and saying Lindsay must go straight there.
    However there was reports that Lindsay’s lawyer wanted her to go to UCLA either she wanted Lindsay to get proper help or knew she may get out early.
    This Judge just made too many mistakes and controversial decisions.
    Formal probation and random alcohol/drug testing 3 years after the incident? The D.A wasn’t even asking for that.

  92. susanne says:

    Jamamma,

    “Haters” is spelled H8ers. You’ll sound much more sophisticated if you spell it right!
