Yesterday afternoon, Life & Style broke the story that Daniella “Prostitution Whore” Staub was not going to be asked to return to the Real Housewives of New Jersey for the third season. Staub was memorably the Real Housewife who had actually been a literal hooker who literally did lots of sketchy and illegal things for her pimp/drug dealer boyfriend, who was middle management in the Medellin cartel in Miami. Teresa Guidice loves to throw Danielle’s cokewhore past in her face, but Danielle seems to wear it well. Danielle even released a totally disgusting sex tape. So… yeah, Danielle is kind of a train wreck. But was she the kind of disaster that makes for good television? Eh. She needs to go:
Life & Style has exclusively learned that controversial Jersey girl Danielle Staub has not been asked to return for season three of the hit Bravo show The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
“Danielle was told that she would not be returning for a third season,” an insider reveals to Life & Style. In fact, Danielle’s finding out she was fired “came as a complete shock, and she thought she was definitely going to return to the successful Bravo series,” the insider continues.
Danielle is not only known for her vicious catfights on-screen but also for her sex tape scandal, prostitution allegations, link to drugs and legal battles with other cast mates. The insider reveals that Danielle is currently trying to generate interest in a spin-off reality series about her life.
Danielle told Life & Style at her birthday party on Aug. 10 in NYC, “I don’t know if there are talks right now about a third season of the show, but I’m more excited about talks of my spin-off than anything else.”
A rep for the Bravo network tells Life & Style, “Bravo does not comment on casting of upcoming seasons of Housewives while current seasons are still airing.” Danielle’s booking agent had “no comment” on Danielle’s status on the show.
Season two of The Real Housewives of New Jersey wraps up on Aug. 23, followed by an explosive reunion show airing in two parts on Aug. 30 and Sept. 6.

I’ve already read some rumors about what went down during the filming of the reunion show. Apparently, it was totally draining and horrible for everybody involved, and I think there was some mention of a “war zone.”
Anyway, Danielle spoke out to Us Weekly about the rumors of her demise. What did she have to say? “Actually, I’m not even thinking about season 3 right now as I am considering many incredible options that have been presented to me. Right now I just want to let fans know that we have a fantastic finale coming up next week and explosive reunion shows on August 30 and September 6. Don’t worry, next year, I’ll still be the one you either love to hate or hate to love.” Um… it sounds like they’re trying to fire her and she’s fighting to stay on, I think. Maybe some blackmail is involved? Lord, did she know a Bravo executive down in Miami in the 1980s? A Bravo rep would only confirm this: “We’re focused on season 2 right now…We haven’t announced anything regarding a third season.” I would make a blow job joke, but I’m disgusted by the idea of Danielle’s face anywhere near someone’s genitals.

@Agent Cooper, I don’t think Danielle made Jillian sing. Jillian had clearly been working on a song for her sisters birthday. Jillian wanted to do it. Compared to how often I see Danielle’s girls to Teresa’s kids, Theresa and even Jacqueline’s children are on screen more.
I love the Housewives series, I am addicted to each one and I am slowing into HW of DC. Slowly. However this season of NJ has been strained because they really want nothing to do with Danielle and while we seen more fun moments with Manzos and the Larita’s and even Danielle’s the dis-harmony is almost venomous. They will never get along. They truly need new blood on that show.
Danielle is the best part of that hot mess show! Her sleazy lifestyle and thug friends are a hoot to watch.
On a side note, I have always known that Theresa Giudice was ignorant, but watching last nights episode, I am almost certain she could not have graduated from grade school, much less high school. The bidet discussion was too much!
She had so much baggage!

She’s just painful to watch. I pity her kids for the hurt she inflicts on them.
Bottom line, she’s damaged goods and should not be in a position of power over the young and the vulnerable.

Sounds to me like Bravo + Danielle are trying to build up some interest in the upcoming reunion shows by manufacturing tabloid drama. Which explains why Life+Style has this scoop -they’re not exactly the same caliber as People Magazine. The ratings for RHONJ have been way down. People just aren’t interested in watching these deranged women. Personally I have stopped watching this season. Teresa’s grating voice and vicious spending (despite being millions in debt) really made me feel sick to my stomach. But I’m sure Danielle has been awful too, its her general nature.

God- this woman is a virus. She is just like my Mother and for that she reeks. That being said- it’s uber-entertaining to hate on her!! BTW- she looks just like Jafar from Aladdin. That face would give me nightmares!
@Tess – Her older daughter looks SO embarrassed every time she is on camera. She is a beautiful girl (that could def. have a modeling career) but I’m afraid Danielle is just going to ruin her.
And the whole singing episode, I bet, Darnielle was thinking: I hope there is a Disney or some other music producer watching…

@Love Angelina – Yeah, Teresa is no better, but that’s how it’s always been with Gia. And, yes, the other kids get more air time, but they’re doing normal teenage things. Not making it blatanly clear that they are using the show as a platform to get a singing or modeling career. All of this however, is just MHO!!

I have no idea who she is but what is up with these scary lizard looking women. Her, Bethany Frankel and others. They are so scary to look at. I much prefer a soft face with wrinkles than one stretched tight that it looks plastic.
I think she’s crazy good to watch. I hate the sex tape thing and say she’s a famewhore, but she seems like a nice lady that did crazy ish in the past. One fact is Staubs kids act a whole lot better than the rest of them. Besides the blonde lady that lefts daughter.
A show with just Danielle would be a big snooze. Everything with Danielle seems like it’s done just so she will have a story line. None of it looks genuine.
A season 3 with her would suck because it hardly made sense for these women to keep being in situations with someone they want nothing to do with. It sure won’t make any sense next season.

i love the rho… series. there are characters i dont like and characters that are lame, but i cant stand to watch the moments with danielle. she makes up drama and lies and then gets all upset about it. she seems to live in a very dramatic fantasy land. i really do agree that bravo needs to bring in new blood (the two kims?)and get her out. she sucks life out of everything and i think she sucks the life of the show too.
I like the New Jersey wives with the exception of Danielle. She is pure evil.

I doubt Bravo would fire her since all the drama she brings is the reason that the show gets so many viewers. They only let go of the drama free and normal.

The events that transpired during the final moments of the 2nd part of the reunion showed what the real problem was all along – nasty old trouble-making Caroline.
From day one, scary control-freak Caroline and her pretend-nice phony sister Dina were furious that namby-pamby sister-in-law Jackie was friends with trampy Danielle, and it bothered their gawdy menacing friend Teresa, too.
The Manzo sisters dug up Danielle’s unsavory past and smeared Danielle’s reputation throughout their ugly nouveau riche town, and eventually, weak-willed two-faced Jackie turned on Danielle, too. The whole Manzo clan piled on and showed their ugly bully colors.
Nutty Danielle gave these witches plenty of fodder to use against her, but they went overboard, and became obsessed with her and talked about her 24/7. When they weren’t talking about her, they were talking about not talking about her.
Anyway, Danielle stood up to the bullies and showed them and wimpy host Andy Cohen up by being the only lady on the show.
Rumor is that Danielle introduced her replacement, Teresa’s hated sister-n-law, to the show’s producers, and Teresa is walking. I guess Danielle has the last laugh.
