I’ve been mean and harsh about Angelina’s style throughout her entire world-wide Salt promotion. In my defense, her clothing has been particularly crappy. In Angelina’s defense, I’m sure she has other priorities, and she looks like she’s actually putting some (but not a lot of) effort into her style. In the past few days, she’s worn two God-awful dresses back-to-back – the glittery, neutral-toned potato sack (tied with ribbon) in London, and then the ill-fitting glittery white cocktail dress last night in Paris. Today it’s Berlin, and we’re finally getting a jewel tone!
Her dress seems to be a very pretty navy-purple (it’s changing colors in different light, whatever). Somewhere between an amethyst and a sapphire. Bless her heart. My complaint, because I’m such a bitch even though I love her? I think Demi Moore wore this dress months ago. That’s not the worst move Angelina could be making, honestly. She and Demi have similar coloring, and in theory, Demi’s style would work well on Angelina. So… applause? Eh. Even though the color is awesome, I still think Angelina doesn’t look all that hot here. Maybe it’s jet-lag?
By the way, in case you want more Angelina dirt – the National Enquirer is running a story about her mental problems (“Angelina’s Psycho Trauma”) and Star Magazine’s cover story this week is all about Angelina is “bored with Brad” because “he’s no fun in bed anymore.” Damn, Angie! Sometimes a girl just has to get out the handcuffs herself.

The dress is so so but it’s not a problem Old school Angie looked good in almost everything because of her sexy, confident attitude. Nowadays, she seems…shy?unsure?lacking in self confidence? I don’t know but I got the feeling that she’s not comfortable on the red carpet, not in a way she used to be.Also, the hairstyle doesn’t help.

I really like the color.. the dress fits nice, but it’s kind of boring.. and she looks totally bored. She must be ready to go home.. It would get really old after awhile to answer the same questions over and over.. that must be one of the down sides to being a movie star.

Not that I believe the article, but if it were to be true. Let me just say this, Brad has far more hot left than she does. Almost hands down, no matter who it is when these woman start messing with their faces to the extent she has, it always seems to look worse in the end…..maybe not right away, but in the end IMHO. If they did a little tweak, say the nose, and left their face alone, it would be fine, but it’s the cheeks, the botox, the lifts, the ears, etc. And way too skinny….it ages her and doesn’t do anything for her looks. Anyway, if she tires with Brad, I think he could do far better now. He was attracted to the hot, but her hot is gone.

I like the color, a nice change for her. The dress itself is OK, seems a bit casual compared to the others she’s worn in other cities, but at least it fits better and is more flattering.

Brad and Angelina’s priorities are different now. They have 6 kids to raise. They can only care so much about the superficial BS like looking good for so long. If they started doing things to improve their looks you all will bitch and moan they are taking botox or got something done. Angelina and Brad look fu*king normal. Well Brad does, Angelina is the most stunning woman I have ever seen and haven’t encountered another woman like her. I hear Angie is 10x more beautiful person and I believe that. Anywho I think to many people have to many unrealistic expectations of people who, yes are people who are very successful and rich, but still human.

i was getting ready to say that’s a MUTED jewel tone, doesnt count!, but it was just the pic, it is actually a proper cobalt blue as you can tell in the last pic. and it’s shapely too!
now, we just need to work on hiding those nude pumps from her when she’s not looking!
and yeah, she could use some extra pounds, but i suspect it’s just that she’s a naturally very thin woman who occasionally chases after 6 kids.

but I agree, the dress itself is kind of fug. the ruffle ruins it. I know ruffles and flaps (the glittery sack dress) like that make you look larger than you are…”larger” women are advised to avoid ruffles and such.
so maybe she’s wearing dresses with flaps, ruffles and undefined waistlines to avoid the “she’s so skinny!” comments?…

i know people like angelina in regard to her carelessness in dressing. they truly do not care what they put on to a certain extent, they are uber confident with themselves and like her wear old favorites ALL the time. it does not change how people they are in contact with view them at all because there is way more to them than their wardrobe…i’m not a super ‘huge’ angelina fan (though i liked her in Gia, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the changeling and a mighty heart very much, so this comes from just an observer.

I’m wading in and letting it rip. This is technical, not personal (and I do mean it, this is strictly related to this particular outfit):
Her hair is sincerely fried. The color is awful, without the added fullness of the extensions she had during the filming of “The Tourist,” the bangs are lifeless and, well, ’80s. She needs to go darker and cover up the fried yellow bits.
The pale lipstick is bad, bad. It looks like my tube of Chapstick. I know it’s neutral, but she could use a nice lip stain. She looks so exhausted, her skin is almost waxen and the lips are making it worse. They’re the facial equivalent of those damnable beige pumps.
Her cheeks look weird, but maybe it’s the lack of color in them and that they look sweaty. And the hair around them.
It wouldn’t kill the woman to put on a bracelet or watch or something either once in a while, would it? I know she’s not big into jewelry, but she always looks like she could use..something.

I hate to defend this woman, but I don’t get how some people act like she’s a pile of skin and bones. She does not look unhealthy to me. Yeah she’s slim but she’s certainly no Tori Spelling! It must be hard for celebrities to always be neither too fat or too thin to avoid speculation. Weight can fluctuate in a lot of people!

In her defense, she doesn’t have extra time to pick out a perfect dress for each event in every city. She’s got 6 kids to drag around the world. Though the dresses aren’t as nice as we’d all expect, at least she’s trying other colors besides vampy black.
I must admit I do like the subtle beige shoes, mostly because they don’t attract much attention from her dewey face. Did she get a facial from Madam Tussauds?

I think it was great that the BBC guy asked about the catastrophe occuring in Pakistan.Brad and Angie visited there after earthquake and donated money to refugees and she donated money to flood relief fund through UNHCR. Salt has made $187 million worlwide in a little over 3 weeks and is opening in Europe this week. The Tourist with JD opens in Dec.Way to go Angie.Although I don’t like black dress at Berlin premiere(smile)

I think she could do way better. Demi Moore is a lot older but she choses younger clothes. Angie always goes for old and boring.
