(Although now that they have 4 kids, with 1 or 2 more on the way, I can't imagine they're in any big hurry to adopt again.) She's always been open about her crazy youth. I believe that a person can change a great deal over a few years. Once you know why you tend to flip out, take drugs, select the wrong type of guy and generally self-destruct, you can work on those issues and become a different kind of person.
