American Gladiator crowd boos Brooke Hogan’s music video

Hulk Hogan was hosting the NBC competition American Gladiators when he attempted to entertain the crowd in a break between filming. He put on one of his daughter Brooke’s music videos and was met with boos and calls from the audience to shut it off.

“American Gladiators” host Hulk Hogan bored his studio audience… when he showed them his daughter’s latest music video.

“Boo! Make it stop - please!”

That was the general sentiment of rowdy audience members at the April 13 taping of the NBC show when Brooke’s video played on the jumbo screen during a break.

“We though we’d be entertained by some of the sexy gladiators during breaks in filming, but instead, we got a snooze fest,” grumbled an audience member.

“This horrible music started playing, and then the video of this ‘wannabe Britney’ appeared on the jumbo screen. Everyone in the place looked confused….

“When we realized Hulk was just trying to promote Brooke’s new record, people started shouting, ‘Stop the music, Hulk. Please turn it off!’” said a source.

The news came out last week that Brooke Hogan was denied admission to three universities in Florida over concerns that her “Hogan Knows Best” reality show would be filming on campus. At least she has her music career to fall back if she has trouble getting an education.

Here’s one of Brooke Hogan’s music videos, “Everything To Me.” It may not be the one that angered the American Gladiator crowd, but it’s pretty painful:

  1. Wow, she really can’t sing, or dance or lipsync - pretty sad.

  2. okay, she´s a bad singer plus the daughter of hulk. but being denied university because of that is sad.

  3. I actually liked it. Way better then Higher by Heidi Montag

  4. Maybe Brooke can find a college that will take her and perhaps pursue a normal career in something that doesn’t involve being famous. Yeah, right.

  5. The girl actually does have a reasonable voice :o

But Lord, that was a dull song. And she really really really really really really needs to stop letting her mother style her.

  6. why does she dress like a tranny hooker? put some clothes on, tone down the brassy hair, take some singing lessons, do some legit work and perhaps we will take her seriously. oh and keep daddy’s hands off yr ass.

  7. I actually feel bad for her. She obviously knows she’s not the next Britney Spears (income and fame, not the other stuff), so she applied to college and got rejected? That’s pretty crushing. I hope something works out for her.

  8. I am a classically trained musician and play professionally.

All Top 40 type songs are weak and boring. This one is not that bad. Her voice is very good. She hits pitches dead on and doesn’t do that wandering crap (R&B “singers” are notorious) because she has some training and good intonation.

  9. Because I say So:

    Tromba–
No disrespect, but you must not be that great of a musician if you liked that song. Just sayin’

  10. Top 40 songs are not always weak and bad…. they may be top 40 but usually the GOOD ones even good Britney songs are well produced and have SOMETHING awesome about them… a hook… a beat… SOMETHING. This has NOTHING.

I wish nothing but the best for Brooke… she seems like a nice girl who’s been forced into a career that doesn’t suit her. I hope she finds her niche and can be happy…

  11. From what I understand, she wants to film her reality show at the college and was turned down 3 times.

  12. Okay, I was expecting worse, Heidi Montag worse. This wasn’t to bad, I actually liked it. Tons better than Paris Hilton’s feeble attempt. I think because of who her Dad is, she is going to have a hard time making a go of it. Best of luck to her!

  13. *golfer’s clap*

  14. Don’t much like the song but I think she has a good voice.

  15. What is the deal with all the cheerleading and pom-poms? That would have been cute like once in the video but every little vignette ends up with the girls grabbing their pom-poms and doing that cheerleading routine. Is she obsessed with being a cheerleader? Her voice is actually not bad, it’s the wonky cheerleading stuff that grates. Is the target audience twelve? (No offense to twelve-year-olds.) This just seems like more of the Disney stuff.

  16. Not a good song, I like her “About Us” song.

  17. Domesticated Biotch:

I’m usually really supportive of girl entertainers that aren’t showing their “parts” or have a sex tape, but you can’t walk around LA and Miami dressed in clothes that look like they’re being ripped off you and skirts hiked up, then make an apple pie song and video. Find something and stick with it….hopefully whatever you find is drastically more exciting than this song.

  18. I was expecting awful. It wasn’t awful by any means. She has a better voice than Paris, that’s for sure! And at least she writes her own music. I think Brooke could have a successful music career with some training. Her voice is actually decent if you ask me. Why so much hatin’ on this girl? Her brother’s a piece of shit and her parents are a mess, but Brooke - there’s hope.

  19. Holy shiiit, that sucked big time!!!

  20. i freckin love itttt

your gorgeous fuck all demm haters

you have a great voice !!!
