It’s long been rumored that Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling really, really enjoyed working with each other on Blue Valentine, and that sparks might have flown, etc. I have no idea whether there was any stroking, boning, spanking or hair-pulling, although just typing those words in conjunction with the words “Ryan Gosling” have made me very warm. So I can imagine that even if Michelle didn’t see Gosling as boyfriend material for whatever reason, she probably hit it, at least once. Anyway, as LaineyGossip reported a while ago, Gosling recently went to Toronto – where Michelle is filming a movie – so that they could do a photo shoot (for W Magazine) together, and they ended up spending some quality time together. I hope there was stroking involved, I really do:
Blue Valentine costars Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling’s very chummy relationship had tongues wagging at the Sundance and Cannes Film Festivals earlier this year. Now the two, both 29, have set off sparks in Toronto too!
“Michelle’s there working on Take This Waltz, and Ryan flew up to for their magazine piece on Blue Valentine,” an insider says. “But he also was obviously thrilled to spend time with her.”
After the nine-hour shoot, Michelle went home to tuck daughter Matilda, 4, into bed – but she soon headed out to share an intimate dinner with Ryan at Swan restaurant says the insider.
“They couldn’t seem to get enough of each other.”

It sounds like they’re f-ck buddies, doesn’t it? I mean, sure, I could be “nice” and just say that they sound like good friends, and like they’ve got each other’s back and isn’t it sweet to see two actors who obviously care about each other in a lovely way. But I think there’s stroking going on, and I like it. I like Michelle, for the most part, and even though she’s a bit too fragile and flowery and vintage for my taste (I’m a hard bitch), I want the best for her. I want her to get laid, well and often. And I think Gosling is a great candidate.
Um… so I was looking for the trailer for Blue Valentine, and instead I found this clip… sweet Jesus.

I love Ryan Gosling. If anyone reading this loves him too and hasn’t seen “Lars and the Real Girl” … SEE IT! It is one of the quirkiest, sweetest, funniest movies I have ever seen. There is one scene (the “dinner scene”) that had me laughing out loud watching the movie by myself, and I rarely do that.

She has always been plain, homely and dumpy looking what did Heath see in her? And Gosling can do much, much better. And I think she got knocked up on purpose and then tried to kick Heath out of the babies life just so long as the money was coming in to her. Of course if he was on drugs I would have done the same with for my own child, but I don’t know anything about that.

I like her simply because she seems to be one of those people who keeps herself private…plus, I think she’s cute as a button. (and she didn’t use the death of Heath Ledger for ANY kind of publicity…class act, she is.)

They would make a cute couple, but I still hold out hope that he and Rachel McAdams will get back together.
Also, Ryan is the hotness. Christ. I still remember seeing him for the first time many years ago in Murder by Numbers. There’s a scene with him and Sandra Bullock where he has her backed up against a car and it’s just hot. Sort of wrong b/c he’s menancing in that scene but still hot.

I know, I am the only one who doesn’t like her, and you guys are right she does seem to keep her life private but for some reason she seems like a prim b**tch to me. Michelle does nothing for me, unfortunately. An OK actress I guess, but to me she’s not attractive in any way, shape or form? Also, I don’t get anything from Ryan, come to think of it. Didn’t he treat McAdam’s like sh*t and try to control her all the time? Possesive? I hate that crap and wouldn’t even sleep with Fiennes were he that type of guy. Lainey posted this video months ago of an interview for this film and Ryan was staring at her while she was talking and then he started picking lint from her shirt on the shoulder. She actually paused and gave him a look like,” What are you doing?” and he just waved his hand like,” Go ahead, keep talking.” It was actually kinda funny because he definitely caught her off-guard and seemed to unnerve her a bit.

Incendiary was a brilliant film, made even more so by Michelle Williams. She’s made some brave acting choices. They are a cute pair. Even if they aren’t a pair, they’re cute….they both have that artistic, yet sane, vibe.

I heard that when Michelle Williams was in high school(?) she was picked on, for um, being a “harlot” but her Dad said it was because she developed early and she was misunderstood or girls are jealous/insecure at that age. Not sure and it was long time ago.

She isn’t dating Spike anymore, they broke up about a year and a half a go.

Michelle, allegedly, had affairs with many colleages. One of them being Heath Ledger with whom she fell in love with, madly. Even though he wasn’t ready for offspring (that’s one of the reasons he broke off with Naomi Watts), Michelle got pregnant. Presumably to keep him. Heath had some issues (like drug use), but those weren’t the reasons why they broke up. It was actually Heath who broke up (that’s what director Terry Gilliam implied in an interview. He was a friend of Heath’s). I believe Michelle loved Heath very much and wanted to help him through everything, but he wanted to go and he did. Before Heath died, he stared dating Australian model, Gemma Ward. He spent his last Christmas with Gemma, his friends and family and not with Michelle and Matilda who were in Sweden.
Michelle and Spike Jonze broke up a few months ago. She and Ryan sure have chemistry. It is very possible they were/are more than buddies.

I have been a Heath Ledger fan for many years and a member of his biggest fanclub and I totally agree with what poster no. 48 says. The truth is that Michelle tried to force Heath to be with her (via the baby trap) but it just didn’t work as he she actually was just a rebound for him from his breakup with Naomi Watts. Later, even before the official split with Michelle, he was happy with Gemma Ward and they would have come out publicly if it wasn’t for his untimely accidental death.
Michelle also had got involved with Ewan McGregor while filming Incendiary in London, and this was a good 8 months before her and Heath officially split. Then she got involved with another Director and then Spike who she had already got involved with while filming the Hoffman film. What I’m getting at is that Heath and Michelle were only really together until say Matilda was around 6 months old or so, after that, they were most of the time broken.
I dislike her because she gave Heath a really hard time when he dumped her, she suddenly used Matilda against him, which is really low imo. When he died, he hadn’t seen Matilda in like 2 months, and a few times just when it looked like he was, Michelle would change her mind and make an excuse. One of the reasons he was so anxious was because he fretted going to court for Matilda, though no doubt he would have in the end, even though he was such a private person. Then when he died, Michelle didn’t go out of her way to make sure the press didn’t paint her with the ‘widow’ brush, no siree, she loved it, and lapped it all up. She also never said anything about how he was already with Gemma Ward, who only has just now started to get over Heath’s death.
