Montana Fishburne did a test shoot for Playboy

Montana Fishburne put out a sex tape through Vivid, citing Kim Kardashian as her inspiration (and then lamely tried to take it back) and she also tried to score a pictorial in Playboy – just like Kim! TMZ tells us that Montana did a test shoot for Playboy well before it was known that she was going to become a porn star. (And probably back when she was hooking – if she isn’t still at it.) The question is – is Playboy going to take a second look at Montana now that she’s semi-famous? Here’s TMZ’s report

Montana Fishburne really is trying to follow Kim Kardashian’s path to fame … because TMZ has learned Montana recently did a nude “test” photo shoot for Playboy Magazine.

We’re told the photos — in which Montana goes full-frontal — were taken BEFORE anyone knew about Fishburne’s sex tape.

As you may know, Kardashian was also featured in Playboy in 2007 — after her sex tape went public.

[From TMZ]

Kim of course tried to act like her mother forced her to do Playboy and she regretted it and she did – all the way to the bank and to the openings of any envelopes that would have her.

Montana has been pretty open about the fact that her famous father, Laurence Fishburne, refused to take her calls after hearing the news of her sex tape through the press. When he eventually talked to her he basically told her he was embarrassed that she traded on the family name and that he wasn’t going to speak to her again “until you turn your life around.” Despite his reaction, Laurence has been very protective of his daughter. He initially tried to pay Vivid off not to release the tape but was unsuccessful. He’s now said to be paying Montana’s legal bills in a case against her for assault with a deadly weapon stemming from an alleged attack in February. Montana and her boyfriend are accused of breaking into a woman’s home, said to be the boyfriend’s ex, and beating her up. Now that we’ve heard that Montana was a hooker and her boyfriend a pimp, that tag team assault takes on a whole new meaning. I wonder if they were giving the beat down to a rival or another ho who refused to toe the line wasn’t behaving. Playboy should stay far away from this one.

I like how she’s not beating around the bush, OBVIOUSLY the only way to get famous (other than having an actor as a father) is to show your junk. Talent and brains mean nothing in Hollywood, right?

Poor girl it was all fun and games until the assault part. If Montana wants have a good career and a fun life she needs to not commit serious crimes. I don’t like hearing that. I think Playboy would be fun for her. Poor girl has a serious case of asscne though so not sure if Playboy will want to photoshop that all day. I hope she gets it though.

Google “toe the line” people. I will change it out, but it’s a common expression and I spelled it right.

she is not coming across as a likable character. at all. i mean before she sort of had this pity angle to her, like she was just some dumb little girl trying to get famous by doing all the wrong things. now she is some crazy, trashy, violent ghetto whore who needs to get bitch slapped and locked up. breaking into someones house and assaulting her bf’s ex? what the hell…

How do you guys not know about “toe the line”? Its a pretty common expression. I still think Lawrence is doing the right thing right now. We also don’t know if he’s tried to intervene in the past unsucessfully.

People probably think it’s ‘tow the line,’ like they think it’s ‘escape goat’ or ‘a rolling stone gathers no moths,’ or ‘a long road to hold,’ or so many other gems that make me wonder how they get their shoes on the right feet.
    Anybody have any other faves?

FYI – Montana is a woman of color. Hollywood barely have women of color (hispanic, african-american and asian) represented in Hollywood anyway. She will NEVER receive the kind of fame that Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian has received. It is crazy that she doesn’t realize that.

I just thought my version was funnier…guess not. I see “tow the line” and other malapropisms all over the internets. Seems like YouTube has more than their share. One that gets me- lip-singing for lip synching.

    @Maya -

I completely agree with you. I would even take it a step further to say the women in general don’t have a great or true representation in Hollywood. It’s a ‘boys club’ – always has been.

However, wouldn’t Kim K. be considered a ‘woman of color’?

  12. Brooke says:

Not that I think Playboy will really sign her, but if they spent a year photoshopping Tara Reid into some form of ‘acceptable’, then a little acne scarring shouldn’t be that difficult for them.

Also; not sure why people are confused by the expression ‘toe the line’ – thought that one was pretty common.

The Kardashian one is Armenian, but she is a caucasian woman. Look it up, caucasian is a pretty blanket term for European-based peoples.

@ Fluffy Kitten Tail: I was thinking the same thing about her “nasty zitty ass.” She is NOT Playboy material.

I actually think she is a very pretty young woman, but that spotted butt makes her too rough looking, for Playboy or, really, even for porn. I guess her name and her willingness were what got her in porn films.

Playboy is just one of a number of formerly significant pop culture icons – think Rolling Stone mag, Beauty pageants, etc. – that have been in a slow and steady decline. To think even in the 90s Playboy featured the likes of Cindy Crawford and Elle Macpherson and now it’s reduced to Lisa Rinna and this ho; I picked up a copy recently wow, the models were bland John Casablancas wannabees, airbrushed and photoshopped, boring photography, too many of the articles were a festival of lib cliches, as opposed to intelligent liberalism; no reason to keep it around it went in the garbage – is Playboy even relevant anymore, its long since lost its cache.
