According to The Superficial, Britney Spears and Jason Trawick spent some of their Hawaiian vacation time checking out a chapel across from their Maui hotel. So now people are saying that this trip is not so much a vacation as some kind of elopement…? I doubt Britney is going to get married right now, though. Her daddy isn’t there to give his (state sanctioned) blessing, so I think it’s probably illegal for Jason to marry a girl who is effectively a ward of the state of California. We’ll see though.
What I do know is that Britney looks really good. All of these beach-and-bikini photos are some of her best pics in a year or more. She looks happy and healthy and not stressed out or drugged out. I wonder about the accommodations at the Maui hotel – I mean, obviously, it’s a nice place, I’m not saying that. But Brit has her habits now, her crutches to keep her sane. Like Starbucks. Do you think they had to choose their hotel by proximity to a Starbucks? I bet you ten bucks they did.
Sidenote: In these photos, Jason is really, really reminding me of an ex who broke my heart. The comparison vibes are intense.

I’m not buying this is a real relationship. I think he has special interest in ensuring she comes off the to public as happy and healthy-so has taken it upon himself to pose as her boyfriend. Just me. I could and have many times been wrong and I certainly won’t loose sleep over if this is real or not. Just an observation.

One thing I find sad about Britney, amongst others, is that she is never with any friends!
She is always with her agents, Jason was her former agent of some sort? She always has a “team” with her, to ensure she is acting accordingly to her daddy’s regulations. She is rarely alone, but the people she is with aren’t really her friends or endearing companions, just merely her agents or PR reps. I think it’s really sad this girl doesn’t seem to have a genuine relationship with any man or woman, it is simply just business.

It’s a shame that the only time she looks clean is on the beach. Probably cause it’s the only time she really ever touches water.

yeah… I don’t understand why her hair is such a mess.. maybe because it’s the one thing she has control over so she chooses to have it that way.. maybe to piss her dad off?? @HotPockets I agree with you. Also if you look at many of the other photos from that day you will see one of her bodyguards in the water with her and Jason watching as they make out. Talk about overprotected. Even though she can’t have moments like this to herself because she’s watched like a hawk by her security it’s good to see her happy.

Eileen, I was thinking the same thing. I think it’s more about stability, for her and her image, than actual romance. Otherwise I’d be suspicious of him – she clearly has a lot of issues, I can’t imagine someone wanting to be in a real relationship with her.
But I do wish the best for her, I have actual sympathy for her, unlike idiots like Lohan.

I have stayed at each of the three resorts on the side of Maui where these two are staying. Yep, there IS a Starbucks nearby! –Of the three really nice resorts though, the one they are ‘supposedly’ staying at is the least nice of the three. HOWEVER, I recall that Britney owns a property just next to these. –BUT, there is no decent beach or beach access from her place, so, off to the Grand Wailea, Kea Lani and the Four Seasons we go!
BTW, she looks great. However, I do not believe she will ever be ‘right’ in the head. Sorry to say.

I’ve heard that he did have a relationship with another woman while with Britney. I don’t think this is a love a match. It seems convenient and also arranged. That’s just my opinion. She looks happy so maybe things are better now.
Finally, from the neck down, she looks healthy again. I just feel bad for this poor woman, her life is so weird. I hope she’s able to find happiness, but it’s gotta be tough when you’re always on lock down.
