I’m looking at these photos of Miley coming to NYC and out and about in the city, and her face looks different, doesn’t it? I’m not the only one who noticed, so it’s not like I’m (the only one) picking on her. I’m not even really picking on her – I know many of you criticize her looks, but I actually think Miley is a pretty girl, and I admire her confidence in herself. It depresses me to no end to think that at 17 years old, she might already be f-cking with her face. Plus, the whole idea of “breakup Botox” is so… Kim Kardashian. That’s when Kim’s face started looking especially Kat-Face, by the way. Right after Kim and Reggie Bush broke up, Kim started f-cking with her face endlessly. Isn’t Miley better than a Kardashian?
Re: “The Breakup Botox.” Last week, Liam Hemsworth’s rep confirmed that Liam and Miley Cyrus had broke up, probably several weeks before. There were rumors about Liam dumping Miley because, you know, her family, and there were rumors about Miley dumping Liam because he might have been cheating on her. Since then, Miley hasn’t been as high profile as I would have expected. I was thinking that post-split she would have gone on some kind of media rampage, posting something inappropriate and immature on her website, or even doing a bitchy interview to some local press or something. Anything to change the story. Of course, there was this story that got some circulation – Miley straddling a costar on the set of LOL. I think it was down-time straddling too. But if the mainstram media doesn’t note the straddling, does it really happen?
Also – did she get her lips done too? They look especially… Lohan-esque.

Miley actually looks alot younger without all the hair extensions she normally wears. Why are her teeth so jacked up? Didn’t she wear braces?

i think its honestly her shorter, extension free hair.
when you go short like a bob it makes your face look puffier.
lets not forget she is 17 and in full hair and makeup in these photos, and also in the top picture you can see her eyeliner is pointed at the end.
that also might be why.

Ya’ll do know she was supposed to be getting her wisdom teeth out about now, right? Saw somewhere she was getting it done this summer. She doesn’t get her front tooth straigten because her dad asked her not to. He said it made her more real like her old self.

I have a bob and my face looks thinner the shorter my hair is. Her face does look funny, but i always thought it looked puffy. She is so gross though…that outfit,ugh.

Dlisted has more of these pics, and I think if all this swelling was from removal of wisdom teeth, she’d have some bruising on her face. She just looks weird; She probably has both cheeks wadded up with her ever present blue gum.

Why would she have bruising, Marjalane? When I had my wisdom teeth removed (impacted, had to be cut, not pulled, out) I was very swollen but had no bruising.
That lipstick is horrible, but she’s only 17. This is the time to learn about what works and what doesn’t. I’d think it was much worse if she were 30 and wearing that awful shade.

Ugh! I sympathize-all 4 of mine were impacted & the top 2 were fused to the bone, so that involved some MAJOR cutting & cracking. But like you, I was very swollen, but had only the very faintest bruising (b/c I’m SUPER-pale!) and it was easily covered w/makeup.
I do think the hair is making her look younger & the lips are her own, but that someone needs to hand her a tissue & tell her she’d be better off wearing NO lipstick than wearing that God-awful color.

The bruising occurs because you have to keep your mouth jacked open for so long- it doesn’t happen as much as it used to because the extraction methods are so much better, but if you get THAT much swelling, you usually get some bruising under your eyes and on the jawline.

Before I even read the comments I was thinking it would probably be wisdom teeth. I’m 23 and I still have mine, they haven’t even grown out yet so I’ll have to have my gums cut to have them taken out
plus my cheeks are already kind of chubby so they will be swollen to no end..
I actually think she’s a lot smarter than we all give her credit for… yes she says incredibly stupid stuff and does incredibly stupid things but I think she has a brain when it comes to image I mean really, she’s a pretty girl and I’m sure she knows it. And she knows she’s 17, her body is still changing naturally…
Plus I think her lips have always been like that.

My 26 yr old cousin just got her wisdom teeth out last week & her face was totally swollen & brusied, poor thing. I think it is the combo of overdone eye makeup & that wretched pink lipstick. Why do they still make that crap?

I think it’s different for everybody. After my wisdomteeth were pulled, I had a big big bruise on my jawline. It was all the colors of the rainbow, lol. Quite hideous. My teeth were difficult to remove, so the dentist had to be a little bit more forceful than usual. Luckily the majority of the bruise was on my tongue; it hurt like hell but nobody could that it wa purple on one side.
