Eva Mendes appeared topless in a fantasy retro photo shoot for Italian Vogue. The 34 year-old recently rehabbed actress wears various corsets and 50s style wigs, her bare breasts peeking out from open bolero jackets in two shots. In one photo, she’s laying on a couch with a clear lucite tray table sitting across her chest, a filled highball glass waiting for the viewer as she looks up at the camera seductively. Another shot has her up against the wall with her eyes closed and a faraway smile on her face as a pair of women’s stockinged feet are mashed up against her breasts.
These are certainly sexy pictures and you have to wonder what kind of strategic career move Mendes was hoping to make. According to IMDB, Mendes has two films in post production and nothing else planned. She’s definitely trying to get someone’s attention, and it works for me. I like this approach much better than the staged vacation bikini pictures. Those are a dime a dozen. Now we know that Eva’s all natural and that she’s capable of acting seductive and aroused, and doing films set in the 40s, 50s, or 60s. There are plenty of roles for her.

Sleazy ret-no. Love it Anna! I’ve never really ‘got’ Eva Mendes. She’s always trying to be sexy but to me she has the kind of hard face better suited to porno. Next we’ll hear her complaining about how she’s not taken seriously as an actress. I’m sure this will help her ‘career’. LOL!

I also don’t understand why showing your boobs is career suicide. I love my boobs! I’d love to be able to show the world in some pretty pictures lol. I think the pics are a bit strange but other than that I don’t see a problem.

Some of them seem to be invoking specific stars and particular movie shots and photos? These photos are definitely hit and miss. She looks great in most of them though.
I’m just wondering how long this shoot took, with all the costume and hair changes.

Meh. I have no probs with the nudity, but I’d like the photos to look a little more artsy and a little less porny.
I DO have to say though, that the pic with her boobs smashed under the tray- OUCH!!
Makes mine hurt just looking at it.

I don’t think these are “arty” at all. There clearly shooting her from the angle of someone being on top of her. And with her “O” face it’s pretty hard to ignore.
Oh, I forgot! If we use retro lighting, put a weird cheap wig on her and print them in “ITALIAN” vogue, they’re artsy!

Why are feet on her boobs? I don’t get the big hair in that one shot either. These pictures remind me of the woman alian in the Mars Attacks movie if she was to do a porn shoot. Yes I have my own issues.
She is a beautiful woman though. -
i dunno… i’m not very impressed by these photos. they don’t look very tasteful… and the concept is just weird. i don’t know if this was the smartest thing to do right after rehab…

Hmm, like them a lot. Although for me she was always the model with that lovely ass. It is unfortunate that the ass is not profiled more in this series. Like Jessica Alba, it was initially the ass that got my attention.

imho she is not perfect, but i think she has not been “customized” on a surgeons’table. you can be sexy with small(er) titts:-) if you take the pictures as art they are controversioal and that’s good. it’s just all so oversexed it get’s boring - she should act inbetween instead of baring her private parts on every occasion.

Eva Mendes looks NOTHING like Sophia Loren! Apart from not being Italian (kind of important…), Mendes bares ZERO resemblance to Sophia Loren. That very ugly and lurid Steven Meisel photo shoot (ATROCIOUSNESS) in Italian Vogue trying to pathetically copy Sophia just proves how Mendes is her complete physical opposite. Strictly for the culturally illiterate who know nothing about hourglass figures-not to mention Sophia Loren!

I suppose these were supposed to be stylish retro, instead they turned out sleazy ret-no.
I am shocked by how ugly her breasts are. I used to think she was pretty (if jobless), well, not anymore.
