She’s beautiful for sure. I hope she didn’t really say knickers… thats just ASKING for peole to start complaining about how you’re trying too hard to be British.

Gorgeous photography. Shame about the subject. In one of the shots, her bra doesn’t even fit properly. Zzzzzzzzzz.

She really had to have those out, considering her more than scandalously poor performance in Iron Man. She can need all the good press she can get right now, though I’m not sure this’ll really do the trick. I never found her particularly pretty or striking or whatever, so these pics did nothing for me.

I think she’s a yummy mummy. But the whole ” knickers ” thing makes me want to punch her in the face.

She’s been living there, immersed in their culture for years. I’m sure she actually said knickers. Or she could have said pants, but I think Americans have a harder time adopting that term for underwear, since in the States it means underwear.

After reading enough “Britglish”, my vocabulary has definitely shifted. I also picked up random phrases from a one year relationship with a Kiwi. “Britglish” published in the States is usually actually Americanized for the United States audience, so loads of slang and vocab is changed, even if it still has a bit of British in it.

She looks beautiful, but not hot and sexy, per se.

the term “knickers” is so common on both sides of the pond that it’s like saying “adios”, everyone’s familiar with the word and its meaning. might be worth a snore, cuz of it’s overuse, but certainly nothing to get your knickers in a knot over. (sorry, my bad!) :?

  10. Kelly says:

Her main problem is her body and her late attempts to show too much skin when she don’t have the bod to flaunt it.

She seems a little pathetic to tryso hard to come accross as sexy.

She is not sexy. She is still pretty, though.
Not like she used to be, but way better than her body.

For someone who hates the media she sure is a media whore when it suits her.

WOW… she could BE Blythe Danner 25 years ago in some of those pics!

People who get pissy about people picking up language from other cultures make me pissy, lmao.

I’m not Gwyneth’s biggest fan, but in fairness to her most British mags automatically doctor American celeb interviews to include British slang. Like, people who hardly ever come here and wouldn’t know half of the words attributed to them – they might say “I like pizza” and it will read “I scoff junk food, it’s fabbo!”. Besides I noticed in a recent Jonathan Ross interview she still seemed pretty clueless about some basic British slang.

I wish they would stop w/this one already. Who are they kidding? Is it that hard to find an interesting beauty in this world? They waste the film on this one. WHO is trying to shove this one down our throats?
