I share JM’s opinion on this matter : Ashlee Simpson somehow mocked Britney Spears. But in the end, it’s Britney who has had a huge international carreer and made a name in the music/show business.
I’m not among the Britney supporters but can’t help feeling sorry for her. She seems to be on the good path to recovery.
Here’s to hoping she’ll keep up the good work and enjoy being who she truly is (a mother and entertainer)…

I’m sorry but this is just tasteless. It’s not funny to make fun of someone who has gone through so much. Sure Britney may have brung some of her problems on herself but none the less she’s still human. Ashley and her sister combined will never have the success that Britney has had.

Well, the expression: “Having too many Britney Spears” is kind of ambiguous!
It could mean having nervous breakdowns or having snapshots of your vag taken or gaining weight due to frappucinos…But neither of those rhymes with “beers”!
Asslee may not be as trashy as Brit, but she is an annoying, stuck-up fake.

Some people just cannot keep their mouth shut. Is she so stupid that she did not realize that all she did was hurt herself by criticizing another? Now everyone’s going to re-live all Ashley’s stale moments. DUH! She is not in any position to cast any stones at anyone especially praying on the sick. Asslee and her stupid sister have always been the biggest Britney wannabes back when she was on top of her game. All she and her sister do is copy other artists, first she copied Avril Levigne and Amy Lee and now she copies Hayley Williams. She needs to get her own image and be herself.She’s a talentless shithead , not that Britney Spears isn’t trash, but Asslee isn’t any better.

I agree - Ashley Simpson is one of the biggest fakes and frauds in the entertainment business today. She got caught lip synching on Saturday Night Live, the show’s producers were disgusted with her. She is not a real singer. Pointing the finger at other celebrities isn’t going to help her cause any.

Too bad Ashlee has never had the success or fame that Brit Brit has had, nor will she ever- Sounds as if the green eyed monster of jealousy has reared it’s ugly head. Brit may not be the classiest girl out there, but at least she isn’t hiding out and denying her problems and she seems to be doing just fine at the moment. Ashlee couldn’t give her cd’s away they are so lacking in any sort of musical or pop talent. She can only DREAM of being as trashy as Britney. Ashlee just blurted it out. Give her a break. While Ashlee isn’t all that, she isn’t “trashy” per se. Worthless in the opinion of many, apparently, but trashy has a specific connotation.
Britney has been very trashy the last few years, a couple of years before the mental illness (recall her Kevin Federline days.) Britney seems like a very sweet girl, but that’s independent of trashiness.
Didn’t Ashlee get semi-decent reviews when she did the musical Chicago?

Sounds like to me that ashlee is very jelious and only wishes that she could have been some what as popular is brittany was and still is. Fact: Jessica Simpson is a better singer than Britney, anyone with ears knows that.
Fact: Britney was a great entertainer and made mega bucks more than Jess.
Fact: Neither of them are classy. Britney is trashy, Jess not so much but neither has class.I have yet managed to stay clear of anything Ashlee, except maybe the odd blurb on the radio. Not really interested. Let’s face it; it was a bitchy comment from Ashlee but those kinda comments occur every millisecond around the world.
