I watch the show once in a while. I quit watching this season a few weeks ago. I cannot freaking stand this kid. I would leave the room everytime he sang. My husband would yell at me saying, "He's only 17, stop making fun of him." Seriously, he's good but he isn't THAT good. Everyone knows that this show is completely based on talent it's based on popularity. I think the only reason he is still in is b/c everyone 12 year old girl on the planet is in love with him. I'm sure they are the majority of the votes, I mean, how many 30 year olds spend all night on Tuesday trying to call? I had a feeling this would happen. I watch the show once in a while. On the first night that the parents were in the audience, someone made mention that he would cause issues just on sight alone. As for the show and viewership. It is still #1 but I think the backlash is against that wierd haired dude from last season. They had another version of that this year, but she was a pretty blonde with no stage presense. As for knowing who would win....Paula made mention of a fabulous young boy that would blow us away....foreshadowing or scripted?
