Before he was Captain Kirk he was a resident actor at the Stratford Festival in Stratford ON, which is famous for it's Shakespeare. The best of the best work there. Now, I don't claim that he is the best of the best now, but he certainly had some potential years ago. (On a side note, in Sept. I'm going there to see Christopher Plummer play Caesar. Shatner was so gracious and so very funny. He has great tales of hollyood from back in the days of radio and live TV. What a nice nice guy!! And as far as sleeping with Kirk goes--it's his job. Fantasy to others, work to him and work is not sexy for the person who has the job.
