Please let it be rumours and lies, please let it be rumours and lies. I don’t want another actor I like to head towards the Dying Alone path, no matter how he/she announced zen peace about living alone. This especially sucks considering the background of Evil/Dead Gay Stereotype, that there is no happy ending in wait for those of us with a more colourful dating option.

Of course we knew Jodie was gay. But we thought she was the sensitive loyal type. Shame she’s splitting up such a long term relationship which provided stability for her kids. Jodie, you surpise us!

I did know that Jody Foster was gay.
I was shucked and sad at the same time,because Jody seems to be a nice conservative woman;not a gay one. ! that is so disgusting!! Iam glad they broke up. Children deserve to have a mom and dad; not 2 moms or 2 dads.

It would be very sad if they have broken up – tough on the kids like.

With Jodie, I don’t think her appeal is the sterotypical “conservative Christian mid-western type”, so I think in this case the anti-gay thing is irrelevant.

I guess that’s the difference between straight people and gay people, I never took the simple anti-gay sentiment into account, because to me there’s nothing there to be ‘against’ if you know what I mean.

Sasha, I often agree with your remarks, but don’t you think she kept herself private because of the tightrope between her career and the anti-gay lobby? But it’s true that she’s never chased publicity anyway, and never takes shit.
We love ya Jodie, and hope this is nothing more than a mean rumour aboout you and Cydney.
