I suppose you'd be just as supportive if a court in Alabama decided that abortion infringed on an unborn child's right to life, and just decided to make it illegal right? The state is supposed to be steered by the people, not a handful of 'intellectuals' in black robes. That sounds more like the Empire in Star Wars than America. A Republic is designed to ALWAYS defer to the people. Either through referendums, or more commonly, their elected representatives.
