And now, they're doing the wedding part that is supposed to be the big excuse to have a reunion of all those you love. It's the party for the loved ones they didn't have when they "really" wedded. These two love to dress up (ah, the make-up they can come up with when they're going to some Halloween party is always amazing and surprising) and have some fun time with their family. I believe the "vows renewal" is just a good excuse to have all their friends and close family members to party just the way they like it. That's why the yearly basis doesn't bother me much : they just have a big (but not too : 50 people isn't huge) reunion every year with a theme and some holiday time (after all, they probably enjoy a few days of honeymoon too in Mexico). They've got the money, the imagination and will to do it. Why not? I got married last year and we had 150 guests, a regular size. I can't imagine, and wish, that everyone would make the effort to move wherever we set the thing, every year. I'd much rather renew my first "married vacation" every year than relive the stress of my wedding day again.
