10 years after?! That’s taking privacy to new unchartered levels!
I have a lot of respect for Redford and for all he’s done, via Sundance, for international independent film making. Congrats to them.

I think an actor’s privacy is a great asset to him. It allows the audience to be able to believe him in a number of different roles. There are many actor’s now whose films I can’t watch because I can’t see past the personal stuff. Other actor’s, if I like their work, I intentionally won’t read about them. (Jared Leto is one. I think his intensity is terrific in everything he does. I don’t want to know the details of him being a tool.)

Exactly, Wif - were it not for publicity, I might still be enjoying a Tom Cruise flick from time to time.
I’ve been in love with Redford since he sat on that horse and narrowed his eyes in “Butch Cassidy” when Butch was fighting the guy with the knife early in the movie. He’s never done anything to change my mind about him. And I will always think that the dancing scene in Horse Whisperer was one of the most erotic things I’ve ever seen, and nobody took off a stitch of clothing or touched in any sexual way. He’s a class act.

Agree about him being a class act. Could teach younger Hollywood types a thing or two about how to behave. But I was surprised to learn she’s 19 years younger. She looks older than that to me.
