Yesterday, Britney Spears headed out of her house in a pair of jeans, a tank top, a comfortable-looking cardigan and a pair of sneakers. Two bodyguards joined her on her shopping jaunt. Her busted and tragic weave was loose and free and all was well with the world – in a few months, there is a very real possibility that Britney’s conservatorship could be over. Britney is smiling for a reason. She could be in control of her own destiny very soon.
So what did Britney do to celebrate? According to Us Weekly, “Before she left the Only Hearts boutique in Santa Monica, , Spears oddly slipped into a lace-trimmed nightie and blue leather boots. Judging by photos that hit the web Thursday, she also forgot to put on a bra. Spears didn’t seem to mind. Accompanied by bodyguards, the mother of two kept smiling as photographers snapped away.” That’s right, Brit stopped, mid-shopping-jaunt, to change into a nightie. And she tried to contain the busted weave into… something. I don’t know, it’s pulled back and she looks like she rubbed some olive oil in it. Oh, Britney. This isn’t going to get you your freedom any time soon.
Is anyone else worried about what will happen if Britney’s conservatorship does end any time soon? This could be a preview. Also – her poor bodyguards. You know Jamie Spears probably yelled at them when Britney got home.

man, what happened to her. I am serious. I remember when she shaved her head there had been a rumor of a possible sexual assault on her in Miami (I think. The memory is a bit foggy), but it was never really discussed in the press. I wonder if that made her crack or was she like this all along and had a great PR team?

I wonder what she does with her other clothes. I read somewhere (a couple of years ago) that she use to change clothes during her shopping trips so the paps could snap her in a different outfit during the day. The pics of different outfits sold better and the paps gave her a cut. Another way for her to make some money and stay in the spotlight.
She has some serious love for the camera and attention. If she didn’t, she wouldn’t pull these stunts. (Plus, I think she would have moved out of LA when she became so sick. I think most people would have gotten out of the spotlight for a while.)

The nightie’s not so bad, it’s the fugly nightmare librarian cardigan I have a problem with. What is up with those shoulder paddish thingeys? Ugh, that thing could not be more hideous. Her hair is a perpetual disaster. Why doesn’t somebody clean this girl up? After years of trainwreck photos of her, it’s obvious that she is incapable of self-styling. She does have great legs, though, as someone above pointed out.

I can’t bring myself to use the word “cardi” because it makes me think of Old Navy commercials and those make me want to blow my brains out.
She just looks mentally disturbed – her clothes, her face, her lack of personal hygiene, everything. I honestly worry about her two children having someone like this for a mother.
These stories just make me sad. She’s obviously mnetally ill and I just don’t understand why her family doesn’t get her out of Hollywood and get her someplace so she could get better. Oh wait…yeah I do. They’re pimping her out for more cash. She just seems so lost and I doubt she has anyone in her life that really cares for her.

This girl could spend $1000+ on an outfit and look like she bought it at Wal-Mart or Old Navy. And I agree about her looking disturbed.
The other thing is, with her dressing like this, what will it be like for her kids when they go to school? Pamela Anderson has said her kids get picked on because of her, I think it will be worse for these two because mom is no sex symbol/icon anymore – she just dresses like a skank and goes around looking like a crazy person. So sad.
I wonder if her father made her wear the appropriate outfit — the jeans, sweater, sneakers combo — and she changed into what she wanted to wear as soon as she was able. Then she flaunted it to the paps knowing she would be photographed and that her father would see. Maybe it’s her way of being passive-aggressive and exerting some form of control over her life? It’s just a guess, but truly the girl does not seem well.

Isn’t part of the reason for her being in the conservatorship is to see to it that she is being treated for her illness? I can’t fault Britney too much because she isn’t in control of her own life. Her father makes all decisions.
Based on these photos alone it doesn’t look like she’s getting treatment. If her father or anyone close to her truly cares about her they would delay the release of her new music and get her to a psychiatrist who could talk with her about her issues and give her meds or change her meds combo if what she’s taking isn’t working any more. It’s embarassing and shameful to see Britney this way.
I wish she would stop with the weaves, extreme dye jobs, wigs extensions etc and just leave her hair alone. She really needs to stop abusing her hair like that.

She spent most of her life being all dolled up, being a sex symbol, being a trend setter & now not so much. That’s because, excuse the pun, she’s not a girl anymore. She’s a grown woman with two children & she probably realizes that that’s not who she is anymore. Actually, wasn’t that what she was rebelling against? The way she was being controlled right down to what she wore. Since when is not having a sense of style (remember she’s from the south… I’m kidding!) mean you’re crazy?

I love Brit too, but I don’t know….I think she’s lonely, lives in a bubble and is a person who suffers from personality disorders. Over time it happens to big, superstar type celebs -she’s not the first or last. She’s young and has no friends that aren’t members of the family circle or employees. This girl can’t make new friends, I mean, how can she? It’s awful to see pics like this. Even during publicity (and performance) for her last release she was looking like a wind-up doll. A stappled on smile and dead eyes. Is she addicted to pap flash? Maybe they all are.

Clearly the girl has mental issues, hence the reason she doesn’t have custody of her 2 children and is under a court ordered conservatorship. Mental illness does not discriminate against looks, age or popularity.
She’s suffering from a mental illness — something that should not be laughed upon.
Sadly, a large percentage of individuals that suffer from psychosis will attempt suicide — the medication(s) cannot completely control it. The meds. side effects are just as terrible — complusive disorders can occur.
I just get such terrible vibes and her family have to stop pimping her out for money or the consequences will be devasting.

I like some of her music, but I know she doesn’t write it, I’m not sure how much of it she sings, and even with all the boob bag surgeries and weaves she looks so bad and raggedly old aged without video magic. She and her video alter ego don’t have much in common.
