Kendra Wilkinson could be leaving her husband and moving to LA

Kendra Wilkinson is supposedly leaving her husband, football player Hank Baskett, and moving back to Los Angeles without him. Baskett, a wide receiver, was signed to the Minnesota Vikings again on September 22 (he was first with them from 2006-2009) after spending the 2009 season with the Indianapolis Colts and being signed to the Philadelphia Eagles for 2010. It looks like Baskett was let go from the Eagles after playing just a handful of games this season and is now in Minnesota again. This nomadic lifestyle must be getting to be too much for Kendra, because she’s supposedly leaving and putting down roots in LA. She’s only been married for a little over a year. How does she expect to work things out with her husband if she’s high tailing it out of there so soon?

Life & Style can reveal that Kendra Wilkinson has made the shocking decision to take her son and move back to Los Angeles— 1,500 miles away from her husband in Minnesota. “She’s moving back to LA,” an insider reveals to Life & Style. “It’ll happen in mid-October. She made the decision firmly and told Hank.”

While being apart is tough on any couple, Hank’s most upset that he’s spending so much time away from his son at a vital stage in the 10-monthold’s development. “Hank is pissed,” says the insider. “The fighting between Kendra and him is bad. They’ve had teary fights and crying fits. They’ve been screaming at each other. He can’t understand why she won’t come to Minnesota. Every day is torture for him.”

For Kendra, her baby and her series on E! are the only sources of stability in her life, and LA is where her career can thrive. “In her mind, it’s not her fault Hank can’t keep a job,” notes a second insider to Life & Style. “She has a job too — plus friends in LA and family in San Diego. She’s not going to Minnesota and destroy her career.”

[From Life & Style]

Kendra and Hank have plenty of money and can afford to travel for work. They have a reality show that follows them wherever they are. There’s no reason for Kendra to leave and take the baby with her. She can always stay in LA for a little while for work and come back. Speaking of their reality show, the third season premieres in November so this little tidbit could be completely manufactured in order to drum up interest in the show. This could be true, though. In what little I’ve seen of Kendra’s show she’s complained bitterly about living in Indianapolis and having to move around. She even said that NFL stood for “Not For Long.” I guess that might also be said of Kendra’s marriage. She’s only 25 and probably doesn’t want to settle down anyway. All she’s known of life is living in the Playboy Mansion and then getting engaged and married in short order.

Whatever is going on with these two, they’re still together now. Kendra just posted photos to her blog of a night out in Philadelphia with Hank and their friends. They were probably saying goodbye as they were about to move.

What ever happened to for better or worse? I know Kendra couldn’t remember her vows when she was saying them so I guess she totally forget them now.
She is young & wild but she has a good husband & beautiful child so I hope she & Hank can work things out.

  2. mel says:

She has a good life, even though her hubby cant seem to stay in one city for longer than a year, he treats her good. I hope they can work things out for the sake of lil Hank.

  3. spanks says:

This is nothing more than a publicity stunt, just like her act of not wanting her sex tape released… its all for ratings!

  4. YOYO99 says:

    She is gross!

  5. guesty says:

hope they can work it out…

  6. Ashley says:

I think this is all a rumor! She’s more into her husband that LA, so Im calling BS on this story

  7. M says:

Eh. I don’t think her moving back to LA is that bad. I live in a city with four pro teams and it’s not unusual for wives and kids to stay here even though the husband/father plays for a team in another city. It’s just a part of that type of life. The athlete goes where he can play, but that doesn’t mean that his family is going to uproot their lives — especially if he has a one year contract, which isn’t all that uncommon.

How many players do you know who spend their entire careers in one city? Not many. Hank has played for 3 teams in 3 different cities in 3 years. He’s not God’s gift to the game, so his status as a player is tenuous year to year. I can see why Kendra says “Our home is in LA. I’ll travel to see you during the season, but our home is here in LA with the baby.”

  8. Tess says:

    What a shock.

  9. sisi says:

O my goodness, not another marriage on the rocks…. (not that I expected these two to last long, but certainly longer than this – supposedly)

  10. Johnthing says:

    Career? Really?

  11. craig says:

what an ugly pinched nose faced stupid whore…feel bad for hank!

  12. dread pirate cuervo says:

She’s going to lose her “career” by going to MN for 4 months? GTFOH!

  13. Rita says:

Let’s face it. In all but a few cases, celebrity marriages are not about building a life together. They are about building a life around “ME”. First the engagement, then the wedding, then the baby bump, and finally the baby. When the buzz becomes boring, so does the marriage and it ends in the toilet. Take your Hollywood life and shove it!

  14. TeeTee says:

YUCK!!! RUN HANK!! if you can!!!!

  15. terryo says:

She thinks she will get back in the limelight and become a great star. She will do a few b movies and then sink to porn.

  16. Lem says:

leaving her husband and moving to LA are two different things when married to an NFL player. He could be there a week. He could be in Cleveland next week. He could be in Seattle next month.
I can’t fault her for returning “home” if he was released. His switching teams a month+ into season play is not good sign of his career stability.

  17. Tia C says:

I suspect that terryo is correct. That would appear to be Kendra’s destiny.

  18. Sandy says:

Who the hell is this broad?

  19. Squirtle says:

She’s really not attractive…not in the slightest! I guess that’s mean to say but I just don’t see the appeal at all. She laughs like a idiot and her face/hair/makeup are all just bad!

  20. grlygrl7 says:

hank has never been with the vikings before, he was with the eagles from 06-09, then indy, then back to the eagles, and now apparently the vikings. anyway, seems like they gave the marriage a poor chance.

  21. Johnny Depp's Girl says:

    She’s dim witted and selfish.

    Run Hank

  22. Ms_Fu says:

    Incredibly selfish.

  23. Sigh. says:

    ITWAY w/ M.

Eh. He seems like a REALLY great guy, personally, but professionally, she married a strictly average (undrafted free agent) football player who hasn’t captured the imagination/interest any teams enough to never be “in the bottom three of the elimination round (srsly, he actually has 4 trades* in 4 pro years between 3 teams).”

She’s probably not getting a chance to “connect (or compete)” with other football wives, has no friends in these new cities, so she’s going back to where she’s comfortable, can get back to her famewhorzing ways with ease, and probably make more money than him in an even shorter amount of time.

Still, “Why They Split/Inside Their Split” mag cover in 3…2…

*I think he was “off-season” w/ the Vikings, cut loose (not offered a spot), then played his 1st pro season in Philly, etc.

  24. TaylorB says:

I just have to say this, I don’t blame her one bit for wanting to live in LA.

If she thought the winters in ID were bad she was way off, I live in MN and there are weeks on end where our HIGH temps for the day are -20 or below (actually we have a battle for lowest recorded actualy temps in the state at -60 actual temp, that is colder than a freezer) between Embarass and Tower, MN. She is from CA, why the hell would she want to live up here during the winter. It is icy, scary driving especially with a child in the car, it is dark by 4 pm… LA would look pretty nice to me.

  25. buenavissta says:

Dread Pirate Cuervo, I love it when you show up!

  26. 6 says:

He is too busy worrying about making her happy to focus on football and be solid enough to stay somewhere.

  27. The Bobster says:

She’s spoiled goods who is only good for a two-month porn career. May she vanish off our radar soon.

  28. Jeri says:

She’s likable but I was really grossed out to read how all the Playmates “mounted” hef for a few strokes. Yuk.

Hate to see her throw in the towell on her marriage, I think she’ll be more sorry eventually than Hank if it is true.

  29. Liana says:

My husband is a touring musician. He can be on the road for months at a time. I don’t go with him all the time. I have my own job and my own life to live in New York and LA. How or why would this be any different? Maybe Kendra wants to actually DO something and she can’t when she’s following her husband around for his career all the time. I trust JP implicitly, and I know he trusts me. We call each other, text constantly, and webcam when he’s on the road. It works. I’d hate to have someone call me “dim witted and selfish” because I choose to participate in my career.

  30. craigc says:

LA is where her career can thrive??
She is a professional bimbo who takes her clothes off for a living!!! DUH!!

  31. Mari says:

I’ll take “publicity” for $400, CB.

  32. Confuzzle says:

Why is this porn star considered a celebrity?

  33. bw says:

@ Taylor B., I’m glad you said that. I was beginning to wonder how selfish I’d be considered if I didn’t want to be in MN for the Winter. I’m in CA, almost always have been, and I’m not spoiled, I am just not used to weather so cold that you’re risking your life if you make one mistake, get stuck outside, or are without the proper clothing for only moments. And with a small baby? I would be scared to death and overwhelmed at the thought of having to suddenly learn to live and drive and survive in weather I’ve only seen, and been in awe of, on TV .

  34. Amy says:

I hope they stay together. The grass is not always greener on the other side. Hank seems like a great father and husband.

  35. Miss. Jones says:

A relationship is never easy, even in marriage.

You two have taken the oath for better or worse and you two should uphold that. What happened to the love that was there in the beginning. I adore Hank adn Kendra, I hope you get it together and bounce back with more strength and love.
