As I just mentioned in the Gwyneth post, Elle Magazine’s “Women In Hollywood” event was last night, and there was the motherload of bad fashion and hideous styling. My nominee for “Worst Dressed of the Night” goes to Kate Hudson up there, looking like she’s totally in the bag. And I’m not talking about her dress. What’s up with Kate? Is she getting all coked up or drunk before she walks red carpets lately? Because her appearances over the past year have been particularly bad, and I have to think she’s on something to go out looking like this. And Rachel Zoe STYLES her!! And Zoe was at the event, for the love of God! Of course, this is how Zoe rolled:
Not the best, but Zoe styled herself WAY better than Kate. Sidenote: Zoe also looks a little “filled out” in the face, so I do think she’s pregnant. Anyway, what the hell is going on with Kate? She was too tired (drunk?) to just pull back her hair in a bun? Ugh.
Other nominees for worst dressed of the evening… Kate’s mom, Goldie Hawn:
I’m not a Goldie hater. But this is unflattering. Goldie still has a great figure, but she looks like she crawled out of the same bender as Kate.
Also – Molly Sims and Emma Roberts were at the event too. Because the two of them are like the new Eva Longorias. They will show up to the opening of an envelope. That being said, neither of them looked hideous, I just think both had bad makeup and both think they’re God’s gift.

Why is it that both Goldie and Kate always look dirty? Dirty, like they don’t enjoy bathing, or they’re both so awesome that bathing is unnecessary. Kate looks like she’s totally on board with looking like a rock stars girlfriend. In fact, everyone shown in these pictures look like hell- EXCEPT, our friend Rachel Zoe! For once, she looked good- healthy even!

kate: a) that flounce makes you look like you’re meant to be screwed into a wall, and not in good way. b) your dress has attacked and half eaten one of those capiz shell lampshades from a chinese restaurant. c) what the hell is with that hem length? d) i suspect your hair is even more inexplicable from the back.
zoe: no two parts of this ensemble have anything to say to each other. your jacket hates your bag which hates your dress. can’t see your shoes, presumably they hate each other too.
goldie: a) get a new fracking haircut, that one’s literally older than me, and i’m peri-menopausal. b) the matte-satin bath-towel is not doing you any favors, which is a pity because you have a perfectly good figure.
emma: i guess you get second place, because my only real complaint is, that dress is hanging like a sack on you. oh ok, the eye makeup is a bit pantless mc racoon. oh ok ok, your hair’s a mess.
molly: you win first place, because your red satin bath-towel is showing goldie how it should be done.

Wow-Rachel Zoe looks better than I’ve ever seen her-definitely pregnant and kind of glowing and not so strung out looking. Kate Hudson must win the prize for worst celeb look EVER. What in God’s name is going on with her hair??!!

Rachel Zoe always looks skanky and gross, and I wish she’d go away. I know she’s flat-chested, but would it kill her to wear a frickin bra? She’s a tasteless, no talent hanger-on.
I don’t think Kate looks that bad except for the inexplicable hair. It really is gawdawful. Goldie still has fabulous legs, that’s for sure. But I wish she had never messed with her face, or at least that she had gone to a better doctor for it. She was so cute back in the day.

i met emma’s mother 12 years ago in la, she was a friend of a friend. i always got the feeling that she wanted to be famous herself but that it hadn’t worked out. i felt like she was waiting for her cash cow to grow up so she could live vicariously… in fact, that is how her friend spoke of her to me before meeting.

@Ferguson. Totally agree about Kate’s hair. Did she have a weave before and just decided to rip it out on the limo ride here? It looks short and curly on one side and scraggly on the ends. Holy crap. @willynilly do you have the scoop on how Rachel got pregnant? Was it through IVF or the old fashioned way? I can’t wait to see how Roger and Rachel handle her pregnancy next season. If there is indeed a next season, considering the fact that Brad’s gone.
