It’s funny how people were on here after the Grammys slamming Natalie Cole about her comments in regards to Amy Winehouse. In which she acknowledged her enormous talent but forewarned that she needed some serious help and should not continously be awarded for damaging behavior.

You see the things she do not only effect her, but they are effecting other people as well. Bar room brawls anyone??

I really think all the vile things said on this site about Natalie proves a point, that so many were quick to jump on the bandwagon of denial and where is Mrs. Winehouse now?

There is an expression “A drunk man, speaks sober thoughts” and it applies here — instead make it a drunk crackhead.

Just because you thought you were not going to get caught – does not make it okay.

Yes, people may make the occasional, stereotypical joke and so on — but it is NOT normal to anyone BUT a racist to sing such an ugly song — made even more ridiculous, since her music stems from 50′s and 60′s jazz and blues (mainly Black artists) and her band is Black — AND — she has listed several Black artists as her idols!!!

This “women” is a great representation of someone walking dead and I am glad that her husband screwed her good.

After all, ugly fucking hearted people deserve to be screwed by other ugly fucking hearted people.

So fuck her, fuck her life, fuck her music {her stolen style} and fuck her misery and, eventually, her death. I am tired of people taking from others and then shitting on them in return!!!!!!!

@Anna – agree here. I can’t understand why her management continue to get her these gigs (disasterous at Lisboa Rock) when she’s clearly incapable of performing and is a huge liability?

Maybe it’s something to with her band and their need to earn a living as well. No Amy, no band. I think a lot of her band are successful session musicians but I doubt their earnings from this come anywhere near what they make as her backing band. I feel really sorry for them.

She branded the newspaper “irresponsible” for printing the chant in full, saying: “I think they should have starred out certain words.”

Let’s hope this is reason enough for the people managing Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday party to cancel her appearance. I’ve said it before and I’m saying it again: this woman should not be allowed to perform for such a great man (who is, after all, celebrating a birthday and has better things to do) in the state that she is in and with the messages she is, consciously or subconsciously, sending out. And if there’s one thing that doesn’t agree it’s Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday and a racist Amy Winehouse.

This post has erased what little pity I had left for her. She’s a skank who gets a lot more than she deserves at this point.
