Doctors were shocked to discover the baby was born one-third plastic and saline…. Should we get a petition going before she conceives tax shelter #3 ?

    Lighten up people.

Seriously, congrats and all that and that’s pretty cute name.

    I love the name.

But, why does Dean McDermott paint his toenails? Does he also wear women’s clothing at home?

He shouldn’t have the toddler sitting on his lap witnessing Daddy get his toenails painted. That screams gender identity issues to me for this kid when he hits the teen years and beyond. Let the kid be a kid, don’t drag him into your fruity weirdness, keep it to yourself hidden within your sneakers.

He accompanied Tori on trips to get pedicures, and he’d get one, too. I think it’s cute.

The name is lovely. I have a cat named Stella, though, so that’s what I think of when I hear it.

And most doctors will tell you that no one knows if it’s safe to dye your hair while pregnant – it’s not as though pregnant women are lining up to participate in studies on it! So, they tell you to at least wait until your second trimester and to stick with color that can be applied without allowing the dye to touch your scalp. I’ve used temporary color once so far, and I’m 18 1/2 weeks.

This reminds me of what happened in the airport one time – a little toddler called out “Mommy, that man has his toenails painted!” in the midst of a silent group of irritated travelers waiting for a flight. The embarrassed guy had to announce that he was on his honeymoon!

I also have a cat named Stella so that’s what I think of when I see/hear it, too :)

    Congrats to them!!

It’s actually possible to get a pedicure without nail polish. My son goes occasionally, he loves the pampering but waves away the Passion Pink and Ripe Mango.

In the weirdness that is Hollywood, I think men with painted toenails is the least of our problems!

And Stella is a very cute name – Liam is too, for that matter. I have to say, I wasn’t necessarily thrilled with them as a couple for how they first got together, but now they seem almost…normal. At least for the world they inhabit!

“Actually, you aren’t more laid back, you’re just so sleep deprived and confused you no longer have the ability to feel anxiety or fright. At least in my experience.”

Helen, you’ve described my current existence, perfectly. Having multiple children under the age of two is a joy, but also incredibly difficult. Then again, I don’t have a fleet of nannies like Tori and Dean …

TRUELY EVERYTHING SHE TRIES WITH ALL THAT MONEY FLOPS, TAKE THE SHOW OFF.

Actually, the painted toenails is becoming pretty common – at least here in the conservative midwest. I know a bunch of men (actually couples) who paint their toenails. My wife and I go get pedicures together. What’s the big deal? It comes off, unlike a tatoo that you regret a few years (months?) after you got it (in a sponaneous act of weirdness).
Besides, it looks a lot better than plain nails. I’m actually proud to show my feet again (they used to look crusty and yellow – ugh).

I like polish on Dean McDermott’s toenails. His painted toenails are very nice. I wear painted toenails too and I enjoy it, when red, brown, purple, black… colours. I hope painted men’s toenails painted will be more common.

My husband also wears his toenails painted. He began this back when I was pregnant with our second son. He was helping me by painting my toenails because I could not reach them. He liked them so much when they were done, he painted his own (blue). I also liked it so I told him not to take it off (it actually looked rather hot on him!).

I think some men can pull this off, and some can’t. My husband has good-looking feet, so the polish just seems to go naturally with them.

I also think it looks good on Dean. I think it’s great that men can be themselves and have some fun. I don’t care for the stereotypical guys anyway.
