Wow, Helena Bonham Carter has some tittays, doesn’t she? These are photos from the London Film Festival’s photo call for The King’s Speech, the film that will likely garner Colin Firth his Best Actor Oscar (not to jinx it or anything, but this needs to happen). While Colin did his best to look dashing and gorgeous, and Geoffrey Rush did his best to look like himself, Helena Bonham Carter (who plays Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother in the film), looked all kind of weird. But it’s a delightful weird. I think the suit is Vivienne Westwood, but HBC can make ANYTHING look like Vivienne Westwood. I can deal with the boots (hideous with this suit), and I can deal with the black glasses (kind of cute, actually), but what I find slightly ridiculous is that HBC has her tittays out.
By the way, I think Colin is still being styled by Tom Ford. That’s the only explanation I have for those jeans, and that sexy face and the way he’s carrying himself. I think Tom Ford has a vested interest in Colin Firth’s style from now on. How could Tom Ford resist? Colin is so f-cking cute.

With that said, I think this is one of the few times I have seen her clothes match.

Well this is definitely better than some of the clothes I’ve seen her in. It really wouldn’t bother me all that much if she stopped styling her hair like a mad scientist/as if she just got out of bed. It’s always twisted weirdly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it natural. There is taking a stand against fashion and just being sloppy with your personal appearance.

I see a suit with a camisol, I see hardly any “boobage”, barely even any cleavage! I’m not sure what you’re talking about, there.
I LOVE HBC… like, love, love, love! And I would seriously, and TOTALLY dress like her in a frickin’ heartbeat if I, A) Could afford it. That vintage stuff is NOT cheap! And B) Had the figure for it like she does! I love every single crazy get-up she’s ever put on, and she makes it look effortless!
As for her teeth… I don’t think it’s that she doesn’t brush them, cos they’re not rotting out of her head, but holy heck she needs a whitening. It’s the coffee and cigarettes someone else mentioned (not cool in pregnancy, I didn’t know she said that!). Those two things make your teeth that dingy tan/yellow hue she’s got going on. And yeah, I wish she’d do something about it cos it really distracts from her gorgeous face!

We’re so used to celebrities whitening their teeth, we forget that normal people doing normal things like eating and drinking (and, for some, smoking) will have discoloured teeth. HBC’s teeth really say who she is (ie anti-fashion, anti-Hollywood) – just as much as what she wears. And you have to admire her spunk in going against the grain!
