Both the National Enquirer and Star Magazine have stories this week that 29 year-old Sarah Larson is telling friends that she’s the one who broke it off with Oscar-winning actor George Clooney, not the other way around. Earlier stories had Clooney, 47, surprising Larson with the split, leaving her heartbroken as she packed up her stuff and moved out of his LA mansion and back to Vegas.
Now Larson supposedly claims that she got sick of Clooney’s on-again off-again affections and that she’s the one who chose to end it. As if that sounds believable:
“She’s claiming that she broke up with him because his love was so inconsistent,” says one source. “She said he was hot and cold with her, and she just couldn’t tolerate it anymore.”
But it seems former Fear Factor winner Sarah, 29, may just be trying to put out her own version of the story because, according to multiple other sources, George dumped her.
“She tends to get too attached to her boyfriends,” says a play of Sarah. “She was getting too clingy, and George just had enough. She was demanding too much attention, and it was driving him away. They had been on the rocks since April, and this was just the final straw for George.”

The National Enquirer has a similar quote from maybe the same insider who claims that Clooney was “hot and cold” with Sarah and she got fed up with it.
Star reports that Clooney has been holding up in Lake Como since the news of the split broke, but that’s probably where he spends his summers anyway. Larson made a smiling public appearance at the opening of the Palms Place on May 31. She was seen flirting and sitting next to an ex boyfriend, Ryan Doherty. The two did some dirty dancing that night, according to an insider quoted in the National Enquirer, who calls it “over the top” and “obvious.” They also say that Sarah is “crushed” and that losing Clooney is the “last thing [she] wanted.”
She’ll get over it and move on. There may not be another A-List star willing to take her to the Oscars again, but there are plenty of fish in the muddy Hollywood lake, and she’s young, pretty, rich and now semi-famous. You can’t buy the kind of exposure this woman got from dating Clooney.

I saw a blind-item that hints that she was telling old Georgey that she “forgot her pill” and “was late.” It was only after he started calling family and raising the possibility of a grandchild that he found out that she had been lying to him, hoping to force his hand at marriage. THAT was apparently the reason he kicked her out, because of the betrayal.
Whatever that’s worth. I don’t see how she’s “rich”, seeing as she’s no longer anybody without her A-list arm candy

Mmmmmmmmmm - I seriously doubt she dumped him. Although you never know. Maybe the reason he’s stayed single all these years is some sort of issue HE has?
Regardless — I don’t see her dumping him over his being “hot and cold”.
She may have seen the writing on the wall and left on her own — to save some face though. He strikes me as probably the type who would have a hard time letting someone down. When it comes to “break ups”. I could see him distancing himself from her, etc. — to try and give her the message.

“squinty eyed” ??? - nice. anyway, why is it so hard to believe that sarah would get sick of george being “hot and cold” with her and break up with him? they’re just people, after all. And anyone can get tired of even the biggest movie star. I guarantee George is nothing like the illusion people have of him - particularly if you wake up with him everyday. the truth is probably, sure, sarah wanted it to work out, but he was lame to her - it’s possible she broke it off, but not because she wanted to.

George dumped this piece of trash. (smart man)! Her only link to Hollywood now are these comments coming out of Las Vegas by “Pals” of hers. Maybe she’s hoping for a “TELL-ALL” book deal. She’s desperately trying hard to keep in touch with Hollywood after getting a taste of the good-life.
As for her being rich??? I do hear men pay big bucks for lap dancers and “escorts”. Yeah, I’m sure she’s got a little eggs-nest stashed away. -

To clarify, I am not a Clooney fan in the least. I also agree with Janelle, it is well known in Hollywood that Clooney swings both ways. I said it in a previous thread that a friend of mine was a prop master on a Clooney film years ago and she said that he was carrying on a relationship with a dude during filming. It was hushed so as not to ruin his appeal to the female movie going contingent who strongly support his films.

@Countrybabe- the film she worked on was The Peacemaker. Why would I know the name of the dude he was carrying on with, it wasn’t an actor, nor did my friend say. Regard it as fact of fiction, it certainly isn’t a big deal to me.
