You know what’s really sad? How so many people on here agree with torturing and killing animals. I’m not a member of PETA but I love and value animals too much to cause them any pain. Do you cold-hearted, sadistic scums even know how these animals get killed? Did you know that they get skinned alive? If that doesn’t bother you or if you condone it then I hope it happens to you in the hands of some psychopath. Karma is a bitch!
P.S. All you worthless pieces of shit who think it’s just minks and rabbits, then how do you explain China’s fur industry of cats and dogs? Fucking shut your vile mouths, open your eyes and see what’s really going on. You’re horrible human beings if you condone torture. Hope someone skins the fucking, ugly Olsen whores alive and wears their skin. Hope someone does that to any one who sympathizes with the Olsen cunts!

First of all i am not a vegatarian and never will be. second i have seen those animal cruelty videos, pictures(in peta kids magazine)of animals being slaughtered for food etc. i personally could never afford to wear fur. thoughj i can see why the olsens do. no body fat equals no heat retention. and even if i could i wouldn’t just because it’s itchy just like wool. i do not however support peta at all. they are terrorists plain and simple and should be arested for their tactics

You want to take care of your skin before it is too late and using preventive steps like lotions and creams is important, especially when you are in the sun. Smoking will not only injure your lungs but it will also affect your whole body which will in turn affect your skin.

Peta definitely aren’t doing their job. Throwing paint on people’s fur coats is just going to anger them and get them to spite Peta by wearing even more fur coats.

I get the feeling that many people who don’t care about the fur issue are people that have NO IDEA what actually goes on in the fur industry. If you just had to watch 5 seconds of the barbarism of it, I can promise you that you would NEVER wear fur. If people don’t stop buying fur coats more and more animals will suffer each day as we speak in the name of vanity and profit.
TO THOSE WHO ARE UNIFORMED ABOUT THE REALITY AND SAY IT’S ALL PROPAGANDA, HERE ARE A FEW FACTS:

Most of the fur in the West gets imported from China where labour is cheap. Now this is where the problem lies.

1.) China has no animal welfare laws whatsoever.
2.) Among animals such as foxes, raccoons and mink, they also skin dogs and cats alive. Yes, you heard me right. They skin them alive! You may think it’s an urban legend, but it is completely true. Just Google ‘chinese fur trade’ and you’ll see for yourself.
3.) The dog and cat fur is marketed to the West as faux fur/rabbit fur/fur with exotic sounding names. Dog/cat fur is easy to dye different colors to resemble other fur.
You might be wearing a coat that contains dog fur and not even be aware of it.
4.) The barbaric Chinese fur industry is going strong as we speak and it won’t stop until people STOP BUYING FUR.
6.) China skins up to 2 million dogs and cats every year.
7.)China is the biggest exporter of fur globally.
8.) Because of this the European Union has voted to ban the import of dog/cat fur from China in 2009.

And another thing, the above video is not an isolated case and is not Peta propaganda. For more viewing material you can buy the dvd called EARTHLINGS.

The reason why these animals don’t get killed humanely by shooting it in the head/slitting its throat is because it would ruin the fur and therefore the pelts would fetch a much lower price. The reason why they don’t humanely give them a lethal injection is because the costs of doing this to so many animals would be too expensive. Remember that it takes up to 65 minks to make one fur coat.
SO PLEASE PEOPLE! I BEG YOU TO EDUCATE YOURSELF ON THIS SUBJECT. BESIDES: ‘ALL THAT IS NECESSARY FOR THE TRIUMPH OF EVIL IS FOR GOOD MEN (AND WOMEN) TO DO NOTHING.’

Peta is stupid, they blame and harass the consumers for using animal based products, but they dont seem to be as hard on the industry behind it. Im totally against animal cruelty, but everyone has the rigth to do whatever they want. Lets be real, why isntead of being utopic PETA start doing a campain for humanization of the use of animals by industry? Even in nature animals kill each other, if we gonna do it, we must make sure the death and life is gona be painless and respectfull. Dont u guys think at least 50% of the trouble will be better if we make sure animals we use for leather, fur, food etc, had a decent life and death?

Oh for Pete’s sake, people, PETA doesn’t burn down construction projects or maim loggers or perform suicide attacks against Jennifer Lopez. Where are you getting that from, some meat-industry-funded propaganda website? Do you really think people like Sir Paul McCartney, Dolly Parton, Morrissey, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Sarah Jessica Parker would support a terrorist organization? Getting people to send hair in the mail is a PRANK – it’s not terrorism. You’ve heard of wikipedia? Please at least take ten minutes to educate yourselves before you start spreading misinformation.

daisfly you read me wrong, I have no time for PETA at all and was refering to Scott F’s comment about animal right activists complaining about puppy mills. I too think PETA is completely over the top and annoying. I also however think that people need to be aware about puppy mills…
