  1. Keep criticizing your writers and they keep writing crappy parts for you on the show. Coincidence ? I think not.

  2. She’s like a female David Caruso - a star on a hit show, a pain in the neck to work with, never fulfills imagined potential. I know he’s still on TV, but he’s hardly the major star he once thought he was.

  3. Isn’t it a greater feat to bring bad material to life? Maybe she’s trying to stick it to the writers again.

  4. She wants off of the show. This is her way of trying to get out of her iron clad contract. Should she be complaining about the writers since she was one of the more vocal celebrities out there during the writers strike. She thinks that she is this great big screen actress, well she will find that like those before her, parts dry up when you have a big mouth and no real talent to back it up.

  5. I do think she is talented. I also think that no one knew who the hell she was before Grey’s and that if she keeps that crap up she can count on “bad material” for Izzy until the end of her contract. They have the ability to make her look like an even bigger moron and get her typecast in a second. Idiot.

  6. I love when the actors (who auditioned for and then accepted the roll) decide that they are much more ’special’ than their tired TV character is.

She thinks she is a moviestar. Great post by CandyKay, the David Caruso comparision was stellar. She is v v pretty. Knocked up was cute, more because of the ensemble cast than her.

I don’t like Grey’s Anatomy but I don’t like when anyone bites the hand that fed them.

  7. She is so self absorbed and overvalues herself. First , she HAD to speak up for her freind, even though he’s a man and should be able to stand up for herself. Then she criticizes knocked up, even though it gave her her break. How damn arogant can someone be, taking her name out because SHE doesn’t feel it is worthy. Nice, what a douche.

  8. Snappyfish… if you’re an actor and you get offered a role… you take it… unless its horribly degrading… you take it.

  9. AC.. You are right about that for the most part. My point was that she tried out for this role, wanted it and now she is eshewing it as if it is beneath her.

  10. What an ego. And yes, if she was really a good actress she’d be able to make bad material work.

You never heard George Clooney slamming ER while he was still on it. I hope ABC gives her the same treatment as Suzanne Sommers when she tried to screw over THREE’S COMPANY. They kept her under contract and banished her character to visiting her grandmother so she never worked with any of the cast, regular directors or crew and was confined to one or two minutes per show.

  11. The Ugly Truth is that she’s not that good. She’s okay, but she’s not amazing.

  12. Clooney may not slam ER but he isn’t all that appreciative for the help he got from The Facts of Life either.

  13. Another hilarious post. These TV girls who think they’re the second coming of Julia Roberts always crack me up.

Hiegel, Aniston, et al need to seriously get over themselves.

  14. I find it hilarious that, according to her, even though the material was not up to her standards, she would have still won over people with better writing behind them. So she should be congratulated for letting those actresses have a shot, since her ACT—TING!!! is so good they wouldn’t have a chance otherwise.

    Really nice.

The Caruso comparison is dead on. And considering that she, like Caruso, is on a popular genre show on ABC, that seems to be a bad omen.

Kaiser, I don’t see how Aniston anywhere near similar. At least she was quite aware that Friends was the best thing going for her at the time, and didn’t try to pull any shenanigans.

  15. Kaiser, I DO see the similarites. Both TV stars, Aniston and Heigl are not content there but expect to be able to be just as successful on the big screen. When Jennifer accepted her Emmy (or whatever she won) didn’t she say, “Oscar next!” I think it takes a certain arrogance to think like that. What is it based on? Just an entitlement that should be bestowed on them for . . . what?

  16. Vermillion: so true about Katherine’s not-so-subtle implication that her absence will give another actress a chance she wouldn’t have had otherwise. All this attitude is going to sink her in the end.

  17. Kaiser/Devil Hippacrat WTF:

Thank you, Jaded Envy. There are a lot of similarities: bitching about salaries, taking credit for other people’s work, the never-ending Pity Parties, the compulsive need to ingratiate oneself with the Minivan Majority, and slagging off the people you worked with and your own films/TV projects…

Mark my words, La Heigel is another La Aniston. :X

  18. Persistent Cat:

When was Jennifer Aniston acting that way? She never slagged the show, she co-operated with the cast, she never whined or threw herself a “pity party” after her husband left her for another woman. She kept quiet and always showed a lot of class.

Heigl on the other hand needs a good backhand and I wouldn’t mind kicking her pedestal out from under her.

  19. I can’t stand Katie Heigl. She seems to have an ugly personality.
