The Hogan family has been pretty assholeish (a word I just made up, and debated considerably about dropping or retaining the ‘e’) to the family of John Graziano, the man 17-year-old Nick Hogan made a vegetable for life after his drunken drag racing accident. Both Hulk and Linda have publicly blamed John for his condition, saying that he should have been wearing a seatbelt. Well, yeah he should, but it wouldn’t have been a big issue if their 17-year-old hadn’t been drunk and drag racing in the street. And didn’t crash into a palm tree.
Then last week Hulk went on Larry King and said the crash was God’s will – to make John a better person. Not surprisingly, these kind of statements have really riled up the Graziano family, and as a result, they’ve been threatening the Hogans. Oh boo freaking hoo.
Clearwater police are investigating threatening phone calls made by a member of John Graziano’s family to the family of Terry Bollea, also known as Hulk Hogan, according to Clearwater police spokesman Doug Matthews.
Matthews could not say which member of the Graziano family allegedly made the threats; nor could he say which member of the Bollea family received them.
Morris “Sandy” Weinberg, an attorney for Nick Bollea, 17, who is serving a jail sentence on a charge of reckless driving with serious driving bodily injury, confirmed that the police had listened to the threatening voicemails.
“Does the family take it seriously?” he asked. “Yes, they do.” No arrests have been made.

Well of course the Hogan family takes it seriously. When even minor bad stuff happens to them, it’s the end of the world. But they’re fine with supplying their minor son with alcohol, then letting him drive a suped up car. And anything that results from it is everyone else’s fault. But if someone dare to leave a threatening voice mail on their answering machine, there will be absolute hell to pay.
Get over yourselves Hogans. There is a special spot in hell for you. Until then, if every one of your days is twice as miserable as the Graziano family’s, you should considering yourselves really, really lucky.

Who the hell do they think they are? Hulk Hogan is a washed up wrestler and no one else in his family is a celebrity. Just because they had a reality show does not make them celebrities. It makes them money grubbers! They were proably broke before they took the gig and probably came up with the idea on their own. Face it, they are NOT Ozzy and his family. At least the Osbornes were open to truth.
Nick shuold have to visit John Graziano every day of his life after his short stint in jail and help with the daily tasks of taking care of someone in that condition and see what he has done! John’s family will never get a break from it. The man served our counttry and Nick takes him down! How SAD!!

Hogan wants another reality show and VH1 hasn’t signed the paperwork, probably afraid of public reaction to a family that encouraged street racing and underage drinking that left a man with the top of his head missing and legally dead really.

The Hogans deserve a lot worse than threatening phone calls. Imagine if it had been Brooke in the passenger’s seat instead of John Graziano? At least then it would be entirely and solely visited upon them.
Oh, and from a linguistic standpoint, the “e” should be dropped, but them what coins the word gets to decide on its spelling.

The Hogans - Absolutely the WORST American Family EVER. There is no excuse at all for these arrogant people - trailer trash backgrounds included. How disgusting and self-centered they all are. People like this are unwatchable, and I hope every TV producer realizes it. The best thing would be to never ever hear another thing about the Hogans again. I sincerely hope all their careers and fortunes tank, it would be karma - what they so richly deserve.

I don’t care if Graziano’s family did threaten them, they deserve it for all of the crap they have said about John. Are they so ate up that they don’t realize how universally disliked they are and how little sympathy any of us has for them? If my kid was a vegetable and some dipshit went on national TV to say he deserved it, and that it would somehow manage to make him a ‘better person’, I’ll guarantee you that I’d be doing more than threatening.
I’m not even sure I buy half the crap the Hogans have been saying about the Grazianos. Doesn’t it feel to anyone else like they’re trying to smear their names as much as they can before the inevitable lawsuit? Attacking the victim and their credibility before a case goes to court is a tried and true tactic in this country.

OK, I spent most of my life living in a trailer park, and the Hogans are seriously worse than any white trash I ever encountered in that time! Sure, some of my neighbors may have been on crystal meth, but at least their drug habits meant that they couldn’t afford to buy cheap liquor and hot rods for their dumbass kids!

Nick Bollea is right where he needs to be to pay for his crime. It’s sad that the sentence isn’t longer. The entire family are ridiculous leeches.
Having said that, John Graziano is an adult who should not have gotten into a car with a drunk driver. He CHOSE to ride with a drunk and he CHOSE not to wear his seatbelt. To say that he’s an innocent victim is truly a travesty and will not teach youngsters about responsibility. I hope and pray that he recovers.

Actually, you have quite a few statements in your story that are incorrect. Terry Bollea DID NOT willingly provide his son with alcohol - among other things. Also, it hasn’t been proven that they were actually street racing. You can’t make judgment on these people until you get all of the facts straight. You claim to know nothing about the type of person John Graziano is, but yet happen to know everything about the Bolleas?
The fact is, this type of accident happens in every high school every few years. Kids consume alcohol then crash their vehicle, severely injuring themselves and others in the process. Unfortunately, this kind of thing is very common. The fact is, Nick Bollea and John Graziano are both KNOWN for this type of behavior. They both entered the situation willingly.
I don’t believe in “God”, but that aside, BOTH deserve what they have received. Maybe Nick Bollea’s sentence should be harder, but IN NO WAY IS JOHN GRAZIANO A VICTIM. He willingly subjected himself to the situation, knowing this result as a possibility.
Oh, and remember, not wearing your safety belt IS A VIOLATION OF THE LAW. Neither are victims, both willingly broke the law.

I don’t watch TV much so I never saw the show on the Hogans. I also don’t know how much of an a hole Nick is. I happened to see the headline on CNN and decided to go the web to look up more info. I have to say your blog seems very one sided and unfair. Correct me if I am wrong, but John went in the car willingly. Did he know Nick had been Drinking? Did he know that Nick planned to race? Don’t all states have mandatory seat belt Laws? The way I see it is John could have easily being the Driver and Nick the passenger.
