I also know which episode they are talking about -- or at least, the best candidate for which episode. The one where Samantha organized a big bat mitzvh for the wealthy spoiled brat, Miranda got braces, and the 'theme' of the show was life is like high school. I'm glad they cut that storyline. My daughter was so bothered that each time an inappropriate scene came on the screen she'd shake her head and say she couldn't believe the kid was there. I too found it ridiculous, but I couldn't enjoy the movie so I told her that it was a problem, but not "our" problem and she had to let it go so we could enjoy the show. What is wrong with some parents? Why in the world would you even begin to think SATC is appropriate for an 8 year-old boy????
