USHER is a complete IDIOT ! Where did he pull that info out of?? HIS ASS !! Lesbians are lesbians because that is how they were born and love women. DUH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean there are women who decide to be with women later on in life but I am quite sure it has nothing to do with a man. You read any article and they say two women being together have the best relationships because they are so compatible. It sounds like Usher is a complete moron. He is so foolish and stupid. No Usher, lesbians are getting together because they are lesbians. It has nothing to do with a shortage of men. If it has anything to do with men, it’s due to the fact that men like Usher are out there making ridiculous statements on things that they obviously know nothing about.

usher’s last album was full of hot club tracks. his latest album (made while in a relationship with tameka) is a little lame. he sounds really unhappy in all of his statements. his theory on lesbians is off, although he is right about the lack of good, committed men. marriage is a good and commendable thing, but i think that he got married to the wrong person. anyone who causes so much strife between you and your family probably isn’t the best partner one could choose in life. i think they’ll get divorced eventually, and she’ll take him to the cleaners in the divorce settlement.

He maybe didn’t think about what he said (or has been saying) before he said it aloud but he’s right about a few things. The fact he married a black woman (most black men in the business don’t,is commendable), is being a father other than in photo ops & is acknowledging there may be a problem in relationships (as screwy as his lesbian comment was- there are a few women that have chosen to experiment with women because of their lack of good experience with men- not all lesbians though- minus 1 point for generalizing)is slightly on the mark. I’d like to know why everyone gets so upset when it is even suggested in any context that lesbianism/homosexuality is anything but a trait that you are born with. There has been quite a few that have said that there have been events and outside stimula that have influenced there choices and that originally it was not something that they would have been interested in. Now don’t go bashing me just because I ask this question. I am asking in a sincere quest to understand.

I think that if it is as you explained, a “choice”, one would be considered a bisexual rather than gay or lesbian. When you hear stories from someone who as a young child knew they had romantic feelings or were drawn to someone of the same sex, (when all you hear as a child is of male-female couples) I think it is pretty clear that there isn’t a lot of choice involved. Kids and teens want to be like everybody else-why would they choose something that would open them up to ridicule and possible persecution if it wasn’t something that was just them.
I don’t know if that helps-but that is kind of the way I see it.

Maybe choice is the wrong word. I’m saying that there exists the possibility that in some instances there may be outside influences on some peoples ultimate sexuality. And even that word “ultimate” is misleading because in said people those “choices” tend to be somewhat fluid. I just think we should take a more honest look at the whole situation and not simply rule a dissenting explanation out matter-of-factly just because it is not the accepted answer. In some people it may well be a part of you that you are born with. In others???????

Wasn’t Usher going to get a DNA test orginally? I haven’t seen any pictures of his child but if it is a boy there is no way of telling who the father is in the pictures most likely. His wife takes up for all of the DNA in his son, causing no one to see any resemblance of Usher or the other guy.
I believe that Usher saying these things because he is trying to take the focus off of his marriage and his relationship with his mother. Atleast it is working just a little.
This marriage has messed him up, seriously. His ‘Confessions’ cd was pretty amazing and now his new cd is just lame. There are some good tracks on it but other than that it is a waste of money. I know more people who go on Limewire (myself included) to just download his songs that they like simply because his new stuff BLOWS.
Usher just needs to divorce his husband, get a DNA test to his son and go have sex with anyone he can. Maybe then his next CD will be better

Actually there is no scientific evidence that homosexuality is genetic. No study has ever claimed such a thing.
