Way to make fun of challenged kids, vdantev.
But good for Jenny from the block. Even divas are capable of Random Acts of Sweetness.

Vdantev… you really have some cranky pants on today. What is UP with the comments?
Jaybird…there is actually a BRIDGE that goes to Staten Island… pretty big…pretty famous… no ferry needed ya goose….
J Lo… that was pretty spectacular of her. My daughter emailed her favorite person of her sport (she was 7 at the time) and got an email back and it made her year so I am sure, that these kids were over the moon. And to be able to simply show up and sing a song to give that to kids, challenged or NOT…they are KIDS… that is awesome.

Aren’t jokes supposed to be funny, Vdantev?
Look, I’m not getting on my high horse, but making fun of anyone (esp. children) with physical or mental disabilities/challenges is not only cruel, but simply not funny.

Haven’t those children suffered enough?

Dammit, there you go making me admire something she’s done. That was super-decent of her.
You don’t think she’s… gasp… mellowing do you

There were other occasions when Jennifer Lopez often invited fans of hers (children from difficult backgrounds) on sets of her films and music videos with out the media knowing about it, so she has done some nice stuff in the past and good for her for making the kids so happy.

Humor IS in the ear of the audience, so to speak. Made my office mate snicker. I’m more of a Bill Hicks vitriolic rant/observational type anyway.
As you were,
It’s great Jenny from the block is starting to step down from her ivory pedestal to do something for us mere mortals.

I don’t get the joke. Unless you are implying autistic kids/people don’t notice things around them? If that’s the case, your ‘joke’ couldn’t be farther from the truth and oh ya, so not funny.

OMG!! vdantev is not making fun of the kids, He’s making fun of JLo, as in no one cares if she is there or not,as in she’s irrelevant and boring, spent, etc. etc. Geez!!
Easy people!!

If J9 is right and vdantev is making fun of JLo all is well. I just didn’t get the joke to begin with.
