Naomi Campbell Pleads Guilty to Air Rage Assault

Rageaholic Naomi Campbell got off with a pretty lenient sentence for her latest criminal-level temper tantrum. The Daily Mail has a super detailed rundown of exactly what happened when she freaked out on a flight and attacked the crew and police officers in April. She really sounds more like a rabid animal than a person. I cannot even begin to imagine what is wrong with her – but it sounds like more than just a crazy entitlement complex. She’s definitely certifiably batshit insane.

Naomi Campbell was sentenced to 200 hours community service and fined $4,500 on Friday after her guilty plea in court, where she admitted to assaulting two police officers in London’s Heathrow airport this April, PEOPLE has confirmed.

The supermodel, 38, admitted guilt to four of the six charges she was facing – two counts of assaulting a police officer; one of using threatening, abusive words or behavior to cabin crew; and one of using insulting, abusive, threatening behavior or disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.

The Crown Prosecution Service has decided not to pursue the other two charges.

“Ms. Campbell was aggressive, hostile and violent to people who were simply trying to do their jobs,” C.P.S. director Nazir Afzal said in a statement. “Her behavior fell far short of what is acceptable.”

The magistrate told Campbell that her behavior aboard the British Airways plane was “reckless.”

Several police reps criticized Campbell’s lenient sentence and said she should at least serve some jail time for assaulting two police officers. It seems to me that the court should also have considered her long history of assaulting innocent people during her fits of rage. What’s most odd to me is that these things always seem to happen over relatively minor problems: accusing her assistant of stealing a pair of jeans, a lost bag, etc. Clearly something is seriously, seriously wrong with the woman – and she’s a danger to others. At the very least, she should be ordered to undergo psychological counseling.

Here’s Naomi arriving at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court for her court appearance today. Doesn’t she look lovely? Images thanks to WENN.

  2. As usual, she gets off for bad behavior with a slap on the wrist and fines totaling 3 or 4 pairs of Blahniks. If this were anyone else, they would be in jail.

I agree with the police reps. Throw her ass in jail.

Does it bother anyone else that her violence seems to be escalating?

  4. Outrageous. All over the news bulletins here in UK, people completely up in arms about her not getting jail time. No idea how and why she got away with community service. It didn’t make a difference before and it’s not going to make a difference now. And a £2K fine??! Absolutely sickening.

  5. As Paris Hilton and others before her have proven time and time again, the laws of the land do not apply to the rich and famous, only garlic-chewing peasants like us.

    So stupid.

  6. Crazy bitch should have gone to jail. Only hope is that if she ever throws a stunt like that again: with her previous, she will.

  7. I remember reading a famous book about supermodels and the modeling industry several years ago. Can’t remember the name of the book now. But it gave a very unflattering portrayal of Naomi Campbell. She has treated people this way her entire life and has always been addicted to rage and violent, vicious behavior. She is lower than an animal, in my opinion.

  8. Damn, everyone else already covered the main points: crazy bitch, should have done jail time, entitlement.

If I went nuts on a plane and smacked around two cops I’d probably still be rotting in jail waiting for a bail hearing.

Nice to see that justice crosses all economic boundaries. (/end sarcasm)

  9. Scott F: If any of us behaved like that on a plane, we’d probably get shot. This bitch needs a beat down at the very least.

  12. and to think …. a few weeks ago she said she was ready to adopt a child saying “it’ll help calm me down” and really, even if the authorities were stupid enough and/or pressured into letting her have her way - her child is going to grow up with some seriously debilitating issues

jumping on the celebrity pregnancy/fake pregnancy/child whoring bandwagon isn’t goin to shift the attn off the fact that shes a washed-out has-been with a fugly face & fugly personality who desperately tries to cling onto the limelight
