Did you know that people in rehab got to go on shopping excursions? I didn’t. And here I thought Lindsay Lohan’s rehab was so stuff, what with the lack of crack and caffeine. Turns out, they let the crackheads go to malls. Something tells me that for Lindsay, Old Navy might be the gateway drug (and Forever 21 would be the heroin overdose, in that anology) Plus, have you been to a mall lately? Mine has turned into a total ghetto. I could score drugs down by the Hickory Farms much easier than I could on any street corner.
Lindsay Lohan got to indulge in a favorite pastime on Tuesday during a quick trip outside the walls of her rehab. The Mean Girls star headed to a nearby shopping center for some retail therapy, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
Lohan, who is currently in treatment at the Betty Ford Center, went to Forever 21 in Palm Desert, California with an unidentified female.
“Lindsay came in two days ago with another young woman. Lindsay kept to herself, but was friendly. Lindsay bought a leopard sweater, a lot of pajama bottoms, and a ton of socks,” the store manager Tiffany Bennett told RadarOnline.com.
“Her choices were for leisure wear. Lindsay spent about $200 total and she paid for the items herself.”
Lohan’s shopping companion also did some damage, buying up around $300 worth of merchandise.
“We were surprised that Lindsay was so low key,” Bennett said. “The only thing she asked us to do was to hold some of the items at the front until she was finished picking things out.”
According to Bennett, the actress “looks really, really good” and added that locals often spot her at Starbucks.
“She goes to the Starbucks next door all the time.”
Lohan was ordered to stay at Betty Ford until January 3 by Judge Elden Fox. If Lindsay fails to follow any of Judge Fox’s orders, she could face being sent to jail for six months.

Wait, they let her go to Starbucks too? What kind of g-ddamn rehab is this junk? And it’s court-ordered at this point – which, in my mind, means that the crackhead needs to be LOCKED DOWN. I would even suggest tying her to bed at night, just for good measure.

Nothing The Incredible Limpet does surprises me any more. Fishlips probably gets someone at Starbucks to add a little extra kick to her coffee.
I really hope she turns her life around but I’m not holding my breath.

When I was a kid, my parents would put me on restriction. I had less privelages than this chick. If rehab is like this, then I need to go.

Come on. When people are in rehab, if they are doing well they get to leave the grounds periodically. First supervised and then unsupervised. This isn’t exactly shocking.
What does shock me is reading she’s pleading poverty while spending $28K at clothing from Sass & Bide, a high end Aussie design house WHILE she’s at rehab. Anyone know if that’s true?

Exactly plus she is stuck there until Jan 3rd so they will probably give her a lot of freedom to keep her happy.
Probably is true i think she just wanted out of rehab. She has never been there during the holiday season before.

Sounds like a fun place “rehab”, with shopping trips and Starbucks runs. So Dina, or any other person, could pay a Starbucks employee to tape a little something onto the bottom of Lilo’s cup if she wanted something delivered right? Seeing as she goes to Starbucks “all the time”.

The Starbucks thing conflicts with Radar’s own report, “There is no soda dispenser at the clinic where luxuries such as caffeine, along with phone calls and television, are strictly prohibited.”
Innocent- Their job is to keep her there by court order not to keep her happy. Lockdown rehab might have work but she wasn’t there long enough to find out. She has however gone the luxury rehab route several times and been unsuccessful.

Lindsey Lohan entitlement issues aside, rehab wouldn’t be very effective if it was lockdown the entire time. If you don’t give a person increasing amounts of freedom where they have to make good choices outside of the safety and structure of a treatment facility, they will just immediately go off the rails once they’re released from rehab. Usually it’s lockdown > supervised excursions > unsupervised excursions > transitional housing > release. Otherwise, it would be lockdown > release > Crack City.
But yeah, shopping while whining about having no money is sooo Lohan.

As long as she follows the rules i’m sure they will let her do stuff.
Everyone knows that she is forced to be there and then has to remain sober until the Feb 25th court hearing when her probation will be made unsupervised.Until then the next probation violation = 180 days in jail
UCLA was an epic fail it was 22 days of lockdown but because it was a hospital she got visitors everyday.
