Ice is right hip hop is dead and that’s because of punks like soulja boy, hurricane and the likes including kanye west, lil wayne, T pain and Jay-Z (yeah right Jay-Z, someone who now thinks he is the Lord). these punks finished what was left of it and don’t care as long as they make money of it.

These days hip hop is about how much and what they have.

I believe the initial and still the purpose of hip hop is for black survival and expression, although the struggle has changed there’s still a lot we need to teach each other with regard to the current times. Not this whole bullshit we listen to lately.

I still have Pac’s, Ice cube, Dead prez and the rest albums, which are 12 years or more and still enjoy listen to them, Now tell if you can listen to todays hip hop 12 years later? See my point?

hahaha, I shouldnt laugh because Ice T is a OG in the game but he shouldnt of made that video in the first place. Soulja Boy is a young dude & I think Ice T seems a bit bitter a kid is raking all that ringtone money in!

Ice-T is good, be he also doesn’t have that great hip hop that this generation needs. Soulja Boy is absolutely terrible, I watched white seniors in a suburban neighborhood doing “the superman”. Whatever though right, as Ice-T says, make your money man. I doubt soulja boy will ever come out with another song with that kind of popularity.
